Our listener asks, "I believe I have been saved, although I can’t

remember the day. However I have always

attended churches that preach you have to be

really sorry for sin, and turn from all your sin to

‘really’ be saved. I’m so confused now, because I recently got a divorce, and my children don’t

want to have anything to do with me. I gave into

the temptation to get into another relationship

that I thought would last, but it didn’t. Now, all I

feel is pain, disappointment, depression and anxiety. I can’t take much more of this, and

would like to talk to someone about it. I found

this ministry when Dr. Arnold was the head

pastor, and what he said really made sense. I do

struggle with the way I have been living because it has not been good with sex, drugs, and

alcohol to try and dull the pain. Most pastors tell

me that’s a sign that I am not really saved.

Please, I hope you can help me."

Our listeners asks, "What does the Bible say about movies like 'The Chronicles of Narnia' that are supposed to glorify God, yet fail to mention Jesus Christ's name? And is C.S. Lewis a pagan, or is he a true Christian?

Love is the motivation Christians must have to properly use their spiritual gifts. A Christian that lacks love gains nothing, says nothing, and is of no use to the lost man and the body of Christ. Pastor Jesse details these important verses in the series Growing Pains.

A healthy church is full of people who know their spiritual gifts and are content to use them. So, what was the problem in Corinth? Do we see those same issues occurring in churches today?

#law #grace #bibleline #truth #legalism #antinomian #lawvsgrace #faith #bible #understanding

acts 15

Jerusalem council

church council

does the law save

salvation into eternal life

the Jews got saved by faith in Jesus

Christ the Gentiles get saved by faith

in Jesus Christ Jew and Gentile makes up

the entire population of the world

therefore it is an adequate conclusion

to come to to say salvation is attained

by faith in Christ only

today's answer some people are going to

be upset because they're not satisfied

with what God's word says and what we're

going to be talking about today is the

law and the question that's being asked

is is the law necessary for the believer

if you study church history I'm not

saying church history is accurate as a

matter of fact there's a lot of people

that that quote the church fathers and

the church fathers are not always lining

up with the scripture

Britannica that's a great source to look

up just type church councils and you can

see all the councils and they're all uh

acknowledged by the

Orthodox Church aka the Catholic Church

and they really started going off base

but most of these councils they came

together to resolve a Doctrine right

someone was teaching arianism which was

the fact that Jesus Christ was he was a

spirit being and a man being and they

were loose they they were Loosely

connected but they were two separate

beings

okay does the bible really teach that we

should be able to see it and so they

come together and talk about that they

talk about sableism and all sorts of

stuff

but as they continue to go further and

further away from the truth of the

scripture they started to get into

things that were not clear Bible but

they were bad interpretations

but the very very first council is the

council in Acts chapter 15. and this

Council actually answers the question

that we're asking today is it necessary

for the believer to keep the law in

order to be saved

shalt love thy neighbor if you love your

neighbor you're not going to kill him

you're not going to sleep with their

spouse you're not going to steal from

them you're not going to lie to them

you're not going to desire the things

they have as of your own

learn to love

love worketh no ill to his neighbor

verse 10 therefore love is fulfilling

the law

seventh day adventism

legalism

There is so much confusion about spiritual gifts in today's church culture. What does the Bible say about these spiritual gifts? Pastor Jesse teaches from 1 Corinthians 12 about spiritual gifts and their proper role in the world.
