After living their version of fun and freedom, Roland and Jinni Shafer found themselves in need of help. Alcoholics Anonymous gave them the support and community they needed. But even so, something was missing. So they visited a church--reluctantly. From there, things moved along quickly to bring them to a saving faith in Jesus Christ--the missing piece of their lives. Their journey takes them from church to the Ethnos360 Bible Institute to a commitment to missions even though they were now in their 40's. But God had a place for them to serve. Most exciting is their discovery of the free grace message. It set them free from doubts and insecurities. The Shafer's enthusiasm is contagious. You will find them an enjoyable couple to listen to. You can learn more about their lives and ministry at https://blogs.ethnos360.org/roland-shaferjr/.
How do you share the message of grace in a different country and culture? By being biblical, speaking clearly, and enunciating carefully to help with the accent issue. Charlie explains God's grace from Romans 3:21-25 to a new audience in Ghana, West Africa, at Pastor Rockson Obeng's Miraculous Light Church. This is one of his clearest and most passionate presentations of the Free Grace message. At the end, many people indicated that they wanted to trust in Jesus Christ alone for their eternal salvation. Be edified and share this with others who might need to hear the gospel. They will hardly know they are in Ghana! #gracelifeministies #graceforGhana

Of all the words Jesus uttered, perhaps the most profound and important word is found in John 19:30 translated "It is finished!" But what did that mean to those who heard it and what does it mean to us today.? All over the world, people are working hard to earn heaven or be worthy of eternal salvation. So what did Jesus finish?
Charlie names six things that that were finished at the cross by the Lord Jesus: Satan's fate, Old Testament prophesies, the requirements of the Law, the appeasement of God's wrath toward sin, God's purposes for sending Him, and the sealing of the New Covenant. Knowing this liberates the futility of trying to earn God's gracious gift of salvation. Listen and be set free from uncertainty and doubt about whether you are good enough for God's salvation. The work has been done by Jesus Christ.
