April 14, 2022 Can a person go to heaven and come back?
Our Listener asks, I know a pastor who says he has been to Heaven. When I asked him had he really been to Heaven he said yes. Then I said that the Bible only talks of two people who have seen Heaven, which is Paul and Stephen. He responded that a person can go to Heaven in many different ways. He said that Paul was taken as an honorary guest. The pastor said that God took him to Heaven as a servant. God didn’t let him see as much as Paul but God did let him see awesome things that he chooses not to mention publicly. March 18, 2022 Is change required for salvation?
Our Listener asks, “I attend a church that the pastor is convinced you can sin enough to lose your salvation. He claims if you are not changed at the time of being saved you were not saved to begin with. “The renewing of your mind” is when you accept Jesus into your life. This has really given me doubts of my own salvation because I am a smoker and struggle with lust. I am married and my wife and I have had several arguments over the once saved always saved doctrine. Also, my pastors saying is “if you’re not saved get saved, and if your saved stay saved.”

People like Dr. Michael Brown who is an Arminian, who believes you can lose it, which I don’t agree with, say that this hyper grace that is being preached is from Satan. Joseph Prince apparently, a word of faith prosperity gospel preacher, teach it too. Can you clarify this up for me please?”

March 03, 2022 What if I stop believing in Christ?
Our listener asks, “I believe in once saved, always saved. How do you answer a person who says you can lose your salvation if you stop believing? They do not accept John 6:37 39. They say if you can be saved by believing and trusting Christ, then you can lose it the same way; by not believing and trusting in Him. God does not force us to continue in believing, therefore, we can lose our salvation by not continuing to believe and trust in Him. Thank you in advance.”
