Conclusion
We are in a battle for the heart of America. More importantly, Biblical Christians are in a battle for the souls of our family, our friends, our coworkers, and our neighbors (Luke 10:27). Both battles will only be won through love, grace, and a willingness to peacefully communicate and understand each other. The first battle is temporal, the second is eternal.

Our verse for today comes from Acts 1:13, “And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the brother of James.”
As we seek Him today, put the new in the new year in ways that truly matter.

This is the second in a two part series on what I have learned from the first year of publishing BCWorldivew.org (BCW) and, over the last five months cross-posting my articles on the blog site Medium.
Summary
The objective of our efforts on BCW and Medium is to offer an honest and traditional Biblical Christian Worldview, with love and compassion.
As a secondary goal, both these outlets are a place to explore and expose the intersection of American culture, its politics, and media bias, against the eternal truth of a Biblical Christian Worldview. I believe these two objectives can not only coexist. They can be synergistic in respectfully opening the eyes of the lost, while reminding the saved of the reality of worldly sin, simultaneously offering God’s plan for eternity in Heaven.

Our verse for today comes from Matthew 2:22, " But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee. "
As we seek Him today, try to get used to the idea that today can be a Christmas for you just as easy as the 25th can.

As Christians, I propose we focus on protecting our families as we see increasing conflicts with the outside world approaching. These 21 tips are intended to provide both scriptural support and practical advice on hiding your Christian faith from outsiders. I apologize at the outset for its length.
it would be the popular term called faith “deconstruction” which I mentioned above. The concept of deconstruction not only encompasses all of the opportunities listed, it further implies there is a process to that effort.
Conclusion with Biblical Support
The challenge with the suggestions above stem from a natural conflict that occurs as we implement anti-Christian actions, while remaining a Christian.
This cognitive dissonance (holding two opposing thoughts at the same time) can become irritating, particularly if the Holy Spirit is involved.
To wrap this up, if you want to hide your Christian faith to protect yourself and your family from those hateful persecutors the Bible warns us about, I have hopefully given you some impressive tips. Unfortunately, you will have to deal with the verses below. They seem to suggest that Christians should expect to be persecuted rather than hiding their light under a basket (Mat. 5:14-16). I am still working on that rationalization and will get back to you as soon as I can with some more good excuses.

Our verse for today comes from Acts 1:12, “Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath’s day journey.”
As we seek Him today, set your path on the way that Jesus is drawing you to. Do not give in to the attractions that are just a stone’s throw away.

I read an article recently that did an excellent job of challenging man’s twisted use of Scripture to justify slavery, apartheid, and torture as historically acceptable human practices. Since these practices have been proven wrong, he further postulates that today’s Christians who quote the Bible should also be suspected of promoting similar abuses. The author begins by stating that “The Bible says so” is used by Christians as the “end of some argument [as] one final desperate play”.
I would argue that Scripture should instead be the first and only basis of a response."Let us know what you think."

This first of a two part series will offer a summary of remarks we have received from readers of our Medium posts. In the second part, I will offer some insight, from my own personal experiences, of positive ways to communicate with those who are strongly opposed to a traditional Christian worldview.
