Pull up the safety curtain, Divas - it’s another Little Diva Energy.
This week, Holly and Tom are completely obsessed with Love is Blind (quite possibly the single craziest reality show to ever hit our screens), all things awards ceremonies, and Madge's spat with the London Palladium.
Meanwhile, Rich delivers another iconic Bitch and Tom unsuccessfully attempts to debut a new jingle.

Gay Men’s Chorus of LA Celebrate Laura Dern

Billie Eilish Oscars 2020
Next week, we have powerhouse playwright, Camilla Whitehill, giving us some hot hot takes on - amongst other things - SNL's most beloved alumnus, Tina Fey . That’s out Monday 24th February.

Buckle up bitches, it’s the second part of deep-dive into Dion, with Diva-in-Demand herself, Reuben Kaye.
If you thought Part the First was a blast, then brace yourselves for Part the Second, as we discuss the rise and rise of Céline as she explodes onto the English-language music scene, get a bit misty when we have to tackle the tragic loss of René, and marvel at the latter day era of Céline Unchained.
Along the way, we learn how Cher can manage a costume change every 8 minutes, the extended and boring story of Meatloaf’s relationship with ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me Now’ and why straight people shouldn’t be allowed in creative industries.
TRIGGER WARNING: This episode includes some pretty racy humour, explicit sexual references and some language that might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Well, that just happened.
The first major Diva event since the podcast started and Holy Fucking Mary it was a good one.
Very little to talk about this week other than J-Lo and Shakira absolutely wrecking the place in Miami’s Double-Diva Superbowl Halftime Show.
Rich manages to squeeze in a Bitch (which is casually excellent) but Holly and Tom spend the rest of the pod discussing 15 minutes from across the pond (Top 5, easily) in its every fabulous detail.
Poles! Politics! Piñata Flags!
Watch it here
The next full episode will be the eagerly awaited Part Deux of our Dion-deep dive with the Superbowl Halftime Show of Cabaret himself, Reuben Kaye – out Monday 10th February.

Look to your sequins, Divas! It’s Episode IV (Part 1) and our first Big Hitter:
Céline Marie Claudette Dion
Canada’s finest export gets the BDE treatment from Australia’s, in which we welcome to Diva Towers, cabaret and comedy royalty, all-round very naughty boy, Reuben Kaye (@ReubenKaye).
It’s rude, it’s crude, it’s better than Feud; so strap in for Part I of this two-part wild ride around the career of maybe the greatest voice on Earth, as we discuss, among other things: her mother’s poor, overworked womb, the long-lasting marriage to manager René Angélil and why Céline might just be the kindest diva there is.
Along the way, we learn what a shame it is Janis Joplin never got to be an MEP, live Reuben Kaye’s discovery of the Ark of the Gay Covenant and laud the health benefits to be found in a full pint of ejaculate.
TRIGGER WARNING: This episode includes some pretty racy humour, explicit sexual references and some language that might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

Big Diva Energy welcomes you…
To the non-sponsored Super Bowl Halftime Show Retrospective!
Very few major sporting events have so consistently hosted major Diva appearances as the Super Bowl - and 2020 is no exception. As we all prepare for the Shakira/J-Lo double-header on 2nd February, Holly and Tom have watched (nearly) every Superbowl Halftime Show available so you don’t have to.
This week, join them on a whistle-stop tour through performances good, bad and downright bonkers.
The next full episode will be Part One of incredible cabaret comedian and true scholar of Diva, Reuben Kaye, on our first big-hitter - the LEGEND herself - Celine Dion. Dropping Monday 27th January.
As always, please like and subscribe!

The third full episode of Big Diva Energy is upon us! Iechyd da!
It’s the first big one of 2020, in which Holly and Tom are honoured to welcome a 100% real and genuine pop star into their home – recovering boy band member and casserole addict, Len Blanco (@King_Len_Blanco) - to talk about the Queen of Cardiff herself, Charlotte Church.
Very serious and important discussions are held around Cheeky Vimto fuelled nights down the Robin Hood, Charlotte’s manager’s suspicious jiffy bag expenditure and, of course, the ever-present misogynist onslaught of the right-wing media.
Along the way, we also learn of Holly’s profound respect for the Little Chef, the lasting power of Nana Blanco’s cooking and Gregg Wallace & Lorraine Kelly’s little-known Christmas #1.

This week, Holly and Tom are obsessing about nothing other than Cats and Will & Grace (go with it; it makes sense).
PLUS a very special appearance from friend of the pod, Joe Cullen - serving his iconic poem about Carrie Fisher.
A cat is not a dog.

It’s the second full episode of Big Diva Energy, in which Holly and Tom engage in some wishful drinking with storyteller and genuine ape, James Rowland, whilst chatting all things Carrie Fisher.
Amongst the topics of debate of are: space boobs, Gary the Emotional Support Dog and exactly how many times did Carrie date Paul Simon? Along the way, we also learn how to make a “Teenage Guinness” (and what the repercussions of that might be for mid-level panto) plus an alternate timeline in which Liza Minnelli could have been in all of us. Tom even gets in his first cry of the show, when we of course tackle the untimely death of one of the world’s best ever people.
Trigger Warning: this episode contains discussions around addiction.
Star Wars Fans: there are no spoilers in this episode as it was recorded prior to anyone involved watching it.
(Luke and Leia are brother and sister and Darth Vader is their dad. Also: Bruce Willis is a ghost, Kevin Spacey is Keyser Soze and an alleged sexual predator.)

Following up from our first Diva, it’s the first episode of Little Diva Energy - the fortnightly rundown of the week in Diva, what Holly and Tom are obsessing about, and what they want/need to apologise for in the previous week’s episode.
This week, the couple have a couple of extra Geri thoughts to untangle, Tom reveals his new religion, Balegdeh, whilst Holly is only thinking about one thing – and it ain’t dogs.
Meanwhile a new segment is born: Rich’s Bitch. In which twitter menace and all-round icon @RichHawkins is unleashed on the unsuspecting populace as he delivers his thoughts on Ep 1. -

Welcome to the very first episode of Big Diva Energy, in which Holly and Tom spice up your lives with a chat to comedian and writer, Nic Lamont, about former Spice Girl Geri Horner, née Halliwell.
They discuss the impact of the Spice Girls on our hearts and minds, Geri’s “tributes” to Madonna and Nic’s mum’s homemade Union Jack dress, as well as Geri’s hot takes on feminism, Margaret Thatcher and the Tube.
