“She The People” follows Antoinette Dunkerson (Terri J. Vaughn) a city counselor in Jackson, Mississippi who has decided to try to run for office of lieutenant governor.

Follow Antionette and her supporting cast including her mother, Cleo (Jo Marie Payton), her cousin Shamika (Jade Novah), and her driver, Basil (Dyon Brook) as she navigates motherhood, misogyny and racism on her road to becoming the first black woman lieutenant governor in Mississippi.
