It’s Thanksgiving Week and everyone has stuff going on! Rob’s entire family is in town (which we’re not sure he’s all that thrilled about) and Harper is at the beach with his family. But we still come together at this time for thanks… and dump on the Sixers for going snitch hunting this past week! We are all in agreement about Tyrese Maxey being the likely snitch, but Rob is floored that Joel Embiid continues to be late in the face of all the team’s struggles. Plus Rob’s favorite story of the week was Fred VanVleet starting a huge arguments with the refs and somehow not catching a suspension or a bigger fine than LeMelo Ball got last week.

The viral audio of the week comes from the Timberwolves broadcast, who continued to double down on how bad Jaylen Brown had been shooting from three while he continues to drain one after another in the opening minutes of their game! Rob is also intrigued by the idea of the Eastern and Western conferences not being “equal” in the post season format but rather the best 16 teams from across the league making the cut – and the debate rages about traditionalism versus new-age consumers when it comes to pro sports.

We also round out the show with some hilarious audio of President Biden trying to introduce the Boston Celtics during their White House visit, the NBA’s updated MVP ladder (on which Rob feels like LeBron needs to be higher based on what he’s doing at age 40), and a hilarious debate about ESPN’s best “Big threes” in the NBA, with some not even making the list! The college football pandemonium also takes center stage, as we get Rob’s thoughts on Alabama’s sub-par season, largely because Bama fans have been spoiled for so long, and Jenners tries to break down the WILD end of the Arizona State-BYU game. Plus a truly amazing and inspiring Big Shot of the Week, and a fun high-low Thanksgiving game as we roll into the holiday weekend!
