As many of you all know, my wife Meeks has Sickle Cell Anemia. As such, a major part of my relationship with her centers around caring for her condition. She missed this week's show due to complications related to Sickle Cell, so I felt it was as good a time as any to discuss being in love with a person who has a chronic illness.

As discussed in previous podcasts, men have a tendency to give up on working hard to please women after they get what they want for them. My wife, Meeks, joins me to discuss why this happens, how it affects women, advice on how men and women can avoid this happening, and more.

While it may not be possible to 100% fully keep a significant other from cheating, there are some things that you can do to dramatically help reduce the motivation and vulnerability of your partner to cheat on you.

If it seems like your man always desires intimacy, it's probably true, and the reason why that is might be uncomfortable for some women.

Sorry, fellas, but you have got to do better than this. If you take a girl out on a date, either communicate about your ability and expectations, or be prepared to man up and pay for it.

Meeks has twin brothers, and one of those brothers is dating a twin; so she sat down and talked about the movie "Sinners" with an identical twin and a fraternal twin. Starting with how accurate Michael B. Jordan's portrayal of twins was and then much more.

This was the last media project that I worked on with our brother Brandon Blount. Brandon went on to be with the Lord on December 27, 2025. He will be missed, and I am eternally thankful that this moment was captured on video.

It's that time of year when I start my weight loss journey & physique training in preparation for my spring & summer travel with my wife. Once again I'm utilizing intermittent fasting, running, and weight training to accomplish my goal, and I am in the best starting position I've been in in over two decades. This year I am also training for a 10k, a half-marathon, and an obstacle course or two. So, these are exciting times at Big Strong U!

Social media has changed the nature of our friendships in unnatural ways that are destroying your ability to meet the new goals you are setting for yourself right now, and it's not in the ways that you think.

I had some interesting thoughts on the medals that we all receive at the end of 5k, 10K, Half-Marathon, and Marathons that I'd like to share with you. Especially, since I've heard them referred to as "participation trophies".
