Don Shula passed away at 90 this week, but this American legend lives on in the hearts and minds of a generation that loves winning, and decency, and discipline. His undefeated, 1972 Super Bowl champ Miami Dolphins hold that distinction to this day. What can we learn from this extraordinary life, and what should we remember from that magical moment in time?

Singer Alanis Morissette says she un-schools her kids at home, following their inclinations, rather than guiding them, or boring them, with rote learning. Shelley Luther re-opened her Salon à la Mode business in Dallas after a month of no income for her family, and her 19 employees, but before the lock-down order was lifted. She tore up County Judge (Executive) Clay Jenkins' cease and desist order at a public demonstration. In court, she refused to apologize to District Judge Eric Moyé to avoid a jail term. At this moment, she's serving a seven-day sentence for violating a temporary restraining order. A GoFundMe page started for her has raised more than $500,000 as of 5/7/20 at 7:23 a.m. Texas Time.

Attorney General Bill Barr argues behind closed White House doors that 2020 is a bad time to repeal Obamacare, according to CNN, as the Trump administration finalizes its Supreme Court argument. In the midst of a pandemic, and a presidential election year, does it make sense to, instead, attempt a partial repeal of ACA? Should conservatives even want to use SCOTUS to do what Republicans in Congress have failed to do legislatively?
