Billie Eilish just came out...or did she? In a cover story with Variety last month, the “What Was I Made For?” singer revealed that she’s attracted to women. This caused a big stir online, since she’s always been linked to guys and has even been accused of queerbaiting in the past. At Variety’s Hitmakers Event on Saturday, a reporter asked Billie if she meant to come out in the cover story. She laughed it off then, but now, she says Variety basically outed her. People online are divided. Some say Variety was outta line, while others think Billie had already outed herself and Variety deserves a pass.
