Hey kids, and welcome to the 163rd exercise in depression known as BindTortureKast.  We had to schedule a last-minute change-up for this episode, but all is good in our little hood as it got me off of my ass and finally made me watch this week's pick, "The Living And The Dead", from misery-maestro extraordinaire, Simon Rumley.  While not a "horror" film in the strictest of senses, it falls more in line with films like "Nothing Bad Can Happen" or "Landline Goes Click" as it represents a very sad and desperate sequence of events, indeed. Often, I find that more horrifying than any of the extreme stuff, so fuck it, we are doing it for the show.  Thanks for hanging with us everyone, and I hope you enjoy this show.  As much as ANYTHING by Simon Rumley (or BTK) can be called "enjoyable", that is.

For this episode, we are leaving outright "horror" behind, and checking out the recent dramsploitation flick, "My Father Die".  Its been making some waves in the indie scene, has serious balls, and is about as dark and twisted as the usual films we like to review on this show.  We hope you dig this one, and please be sure to check this insane little film out if you haven't.  One of the first real surprises of 2017, and we think you guys are going to like it as much as we did.  As a side-note, this may be the last time we cover a non-horror film, as upon finishing the edit, my hard drive died.  Cursed, I am!  So you pig-fuckers better appreciate this episode even more, as it cost me a lot of goddamn money to get out there.

Hello everyone and welcome to the 159th episode of BindTortureKast.  For this one, we are checking out 2007's "The Signal", a once-praised, but now largely-forgotten film about mass hysteria, graphic violence, and Bowen-beards. Seriously, all y'all motherfuckers with your stupid fucking beards are terrible.  I've said it before, and I will say it again (and again).  This phony, hipster-irony in the form of "manliness", with your overpriced flannel and skinny jeans; please just die.  All of you.  But before you take those pills, load that gun, or tie that noose, look back on AJ Bowen.  A great actor, and unfortunately, a trendsetter for making beards "cool".  I don't blame him, I blame you, the viewer.  On a happier note, Luke's wife has found love with a clown, so there is that.
