Sometimes the downfalls or the excitement of recovery can make it less than amazing. In bulimia recovery, you may experience everything going extremely well which is... oddly uncomfortable. This can make people turn back. Or you experience a lack of enjoyment for anything. Overwhelming apathy.
In today's episode, I discuss what it's actually like during recovery and after, how it's not always perfect, why this is normal, and why it's worth it.

Processing an Urge
Exercise in Recovery
Believing Recovery is Possible
& More.
So excited to have her on. She was the first person that introduced me to the idea that binging was not just inherently me. That it could be coming from a habitual place instead. While I would recover for years after reading her book, Brain Over Binge was one of the major catalysts in my recovery.
