Welcome back to Binge Sports and welcome to an all-new Binge SportsCast. Once again, you’re stuck with only me for a little over an hour, but this time, I actually explain why it has to be that way sometimes.

As far as content goes, I start off by talking some Cubs/Mets and Blue Jays/Royals baseball, where those series stand, my thoughts on both, and what the World Series is going to look like. From there, things get a little personal as I discuss the classic rivalry between the Cubs and Cardinals and what exactly that means to me, which is where the cemetery comes into play. Trust me, it’s worth the listen.

I get into a little NHL talk as I run down my early top 5, as I do with the NFL as well. I close up talking a little Michigan/Michigan State and try to figure out what the hell the Colts were doing on Sunday night. It’s a little different kind of show this week, and if I sound tired on the air, it’s because I was. But hey, you came looking for a Binge SportsCast today, and goddammit, you got one. Enjoy.

Welcome to our 400th podcast! It’s hard to believe we remember how to do this each and every week let alone 400 times. Let’s celebrate with Law, MovieFreak, and BingeCast rookie, Batch.

The second season of one of our favorite shows premiered this week which means TV Round Up commentaries are back up and running.  MovieFreak joins me, as he did last season, to break down the season premiere and marvel at Kirsten Dunst’s cans.  Fat Damon’s cans are pretty heavy too.  And not in Doc Brown “heavy” kind of way.  We talk about our expectations of the season, what they’ve done similarly/differently so far, and whether or not we like Patrick Wilson. I am finally back from my honeymoon, relaxed and feeling better than ever.  As much as I loved being on a beach, playing the ukulele, drinking frozen drinks with my lovely chick, being home has many a perk.  Like playing the ukulele, drinking frozen drinks with my lovely chick on MY COUCH.  Ahhhh.

Before the craziness of Weddingpalooza, JackieBoy (aka MovieFreak aka Episode 4) Prop Joe’d me by asking if I’d be interested in flipping the script and having him interview me.  Without even thinking I said yes because A) it sounded like he was going to be doing a lot of the heavy lifting, and B) why not have another experimental edition of MMM?

We finally got down to business this past week and honestly, I was on edge a bit.  I wouldn’t consider myself a control

freak, but I do like to handle things myself and get a little antsy when things like this are out of my control.  But it’s one of my favorite things to do in life:  take myself out of of my comfort zone.  In this episode, we talk about the stories behind my tattoos, the stories behind the friendships that have grown out of Binge Media, music, film, and even throw in a pee break sounder just because.  Deal with it.

A word of warning before you start the show – the is the most messed up you’ll ever hear Ammon. By the time he shows up he must be three bowls and a half case of High Life deep. He has trouble with most words.

Things get started with talk of Moreno’s honeymoon and then somehow lead to Law coming to the rescue of Artie Lange. I don’t know how we do this but it happens.
