It all ends with discussion of the best movie ever, which is goddamn motherfucking titty sucking chicken clucking Blue Crush. YES.

Welcome to week two of Binge Sports’ Luke Norris and me sitting and commiserating about the Rocky franchise. One thing I want to say right off the bat. In week one, we went over Rockys I and II, going over each plot point. We ended up going just under two hours. Here, we hit the two ‘popcorn flicks’ of the series, Rocky III and IV. While doing two of the films with the least amount of plot, what do us two assholes do? Go OVER two hours. Oscars, Schoscars. Let’s talk about Rocky ending communism!

Though we have been ‘Binge Brothers’ for about a year, I have had a hard time finding the correct forum to bring our very own Luke Norris onto my section of Binge airwaves. Nevermind the fact he has had me on his shows four or five times, and even allowed me to do a special guest post on his own blog. When I had the choice between having Jason Morris yell in my ear for two hours or bringing on a great guy like Norris, I would always choose Morris. Yes, I am an asshole.

BUT….with this series of shows I feel the wait to finally have Luke on the Aftertaste has paid off. The announcement of Creed‘s release at the end of this month all but sealed his fate on my show. I bring Luke on for the first of three shows and the Sports Mockery scribe brings a ton of heart and insight into the adventures of the character played by Sylvestor Stallone named Rocky Balboa. One by one, Norris and I will dissect and analyze the Rocky films, two at a time, one podcast at a time, all leading up to and cultivating in a review of Creed on the week of its release.
