Ammon and Moreno pick up Jim Law’s slack this week, as he’s out getting hammered and eventually passing out at 9pm for his 47th birthday.  He’s old.

We kick things off by discussing THIS article, in which an Entertainment Weekly writer posits a list of spoiler rules.  We mostly agree with it.

After that, we tackle a few Google voicemails in which Ammon bats a sweet .750 on the transcriptions.  Make sure to call 708-406-9546 if you want to leave us a voicemail, have Google Voice translate it horribly, then have Ammon translate Google Voice properly.  I know, it’s a lot to take in.

A quick trip through TV Round Up and a review of the book Gone Girl (BUY IT HERE!), we talk about what we watched this week.  Ammon checks out Battle of the Damned, James Wan’s Death Sentence, Dead Man and Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyon.  Moreno revisits O Brother Where Art Thou again, and the disappointing and awful The Counselor.

The Binge audience spoke up, and Binge Cast answered!  This week’s Movie Homework “The Burbs” was suggested by many of you and we grabbed our notebooks, a pint of Maker’s Mark and reveled in  Joe Dante’s 1980’s classic.  Well, classic to some.  Law and I have a difference of opinion on the movie going in, but wind up agreeing on its staying power in this rewatch.  Is it as great as it was in the 80s?  Is Corey Feldman as cool as we thought he was?  Will Law fart?

We also look at where this lies in Tom Hanks career trajectory, who would be cast in the remake (answer: Bruce Dern) and why we thought Robert Blake was a Klopeks.

Fucking Kupka and Jack are back with a good ol’ fashioned commentary for Season 4 Episode 10 of The Walking Dead. We seem to have more questions then answers these days, and well, we don’t like it. Remember last week when Banshee threw everybody a curve ball and showed a more mature, tender side of the coin with Not Hood and Not Carrie?  They talked about where’d they been, where they are now and where they want to go?  Then it all came crashing down?

Well this episode gets back on course by amping up the fighty-fighty and the titty-titty (IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN).  The episode features one of the best kills to date, ends one storyline while throwing a WTF moment into the main storyline.  Also, Proctor likes to get blown a lot.

Moreno and Law have lots to deal with in the new BingeCast. Ammon is away but still calls in to review HER (pre-order it now!) and gets the Google Voice transcription treatment. There’s lots of other voicemails too, including the creepiest one we’ve ever gotten. Keep ’em coming!

TV Round-Up allows the boys to worship last week’s episode of True Detectives and hate on the return of Emo Carl in The Walking Dead. Banshee, Banshee, Banshee.

Then it’s time to announce the participants in the inaugural Hottie Draft. We give the names of every person that made the cut, now it’s up to you – have your list of ladies in by March 10th so we can hold the draft and get the league started on time.

Both boys watch the OLDBOY (BUY IT HERE!) remake and come away disappointed. Moreno also checks out the original and gives a detailed look at what things should have remained the same and what things just simply failed. Do yourself a favor and buy the original OLDBOY right here.  Then they both watch KNIGHTS OF BADASSDOM (BUY IT HERE!) and, once again, walk away wishing there was more.

Episode 5 of Banshee was a different type of show than we’ve seen to date.  By different, we don’t mean bad.  In fact, it’s probably one of the better episodes of the entire series.  It focused on the two principal characters who more or less kicked this whole strange journey off and now we get a real insight into to what this relationship was, where it is now and where it’s going to go.  It’s deeply emotional and perfect.  The house really should have been spray painted with “ABANDON HOPE YE WHO ALL ENTER HERE.“

Here we are. The season finale for AMERICAN HORROR STORY COVEN, and it’s all about finding the Supreme and plowing through the Seven Wonders. Which is probably why Episode 13 is called “The Seven Wonders”. JE Kupka and Ammon argue as to whether this episode sucks balls or not, and we discuss all the various things that peeps on the internet have issues with. Blind chick gets sight? Witches become cover-story It Girls? Stevie Nicks showing up out of nowhere for an extra shitty lip syncing sequence?
