There’s tons of stuff to get through this week and we waste no time in getting through our new voicemails. Listeners provide reviews of BOYHOOD, JOE, NOAH, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, and the new pirate TV show, Black Sails. Ammon explains all this jargon with creepy-yet-exquisite ease.

Moreno Ammon, and Law discuss the latest GOONIES 2 rumors, give a mini Game of Thrones preview, and touch on some other TV Round-Up with Review, From Dusk Till Dawn, The Following, and others. We also let the love for Nicolas Cage flow and try to figure out what it’s gonna take for him to become a major player in Hollywood once again and look back on the first week of the Hottie Fantasy League.

Moreno re-visits SUPER 8 and then he and Ammon finally watch THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG. Ammon adds reviews for IN THE BLOOD, INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS, and revisits FACE/OFF, WOLF OF WALL STREET, and THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISOU. Law gets wasted and forgets to review anything.

We’re gonna call this the Derivative Episode of the Binge Music Cast. Fuckin’ Kupka and I are digging the resurgence of the classic 60s and 70s sound, but can we get some music with an original vibe please?  Peaches Christ.

We’re conflicted about liking The Pretty Reckless since the lead singer (above) was on Gossip Girl.  We figure her hotness rules above all, so we’re good.  Black Lips has been around for years, is it worth digging through 7 albums worth of material to get caught up?  Same goes for Nashville Pussy but are they gimmicky or righteous?  We love Temples and discuss making it a “cap” event when they come to Chicago.  And St. Vincent floors me while it bores Fuckin’ Kupka. Just kidding. He likes her butthole.  How rude.

As Moreno and Ammon leave Law to fend for himself, Kupka and MovieFreak save the day and fill any drunken void you might have expected. The boys kick things off with plenty to say about The Walking Dead and where we’re at with the television show and the comic at this point. Spoiler alert – the TV show sucks dirty ass-crack. From there we have some discussions about what makes a perfect audiobook and why, sometimes, they can ruin a great story.

Then we make Kupka sit through the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer and pick apart it’s wretchedness. During What Did You Watch, Kupka reviews SABOTAGE while MovieFreak watches FROZEN, GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL, and CON-AIR for the first time.

To end the show we re-visit our Walking Dead hate and make predictions about the season finale and the future of this train wreck.

TV Round-Up rocks out with hate for The Walking Dead and satisfaction with Hannibal, Bates Motel, and The Following. Law and Ammon argue over From Dusk Till Dawn (The Series) as they try to convince Moreno one way or the other as to how the show is.

Moreno re-visits THE DEPARTED. Ammon checks out HOMEFRONT, NON-STOP, and MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES. Law sits through MUPPETS MOST WANTED, CONTRACTED, and FREE TO PLAY.

Look at that photo above.  If you’re like me and still have hopes and dreams, it’s OVER.  When 17 year old Irish kids play dirty blues and it sounds genuine, it’s over for you.  For me. For all of us.  Seriously, that fuckin’ kid to the right looks like Bieber and he’s playing Chicago Blues.  Peaches Christ.

Fuckin’ Kupka and I are starting to get more and more hopeful about music releases these days.  The year started off slow but if this week’s episode is any indication of what’s to come this year, consider us excited.  And our wallets empty with all the live shows coming to town.

Folks we are not lying here. This may be one of the worst episodes of The Walking Dead to date. Kids who can’t act, a PHENOMENAL character turned house maid and all the pecans you can eat. We talk about these things and more on this latest installment. You won’t be disappointed. I really wish I had screen capped when we were watching, boy are there some good ones.

The second season finale of Banshee combines all of the elements of that we love about the show:  nudity, sex, buttholes, massive shootouts, complete bat shit crazy over the top “this would never actually happen” violence.  Were we satisfied with the ending?  Yes.  Did we have major issues with it?  Absolutely.  As much as we love the show, it is not above our criticism of its crazy ass scenarios.  Seriously, many scenes in the finale could’ve been Rush Hour 4 and 5.  But we still have mad love for the show, and in the commentary, talk about where the show can go for the next four seasons.

Welcome to the drunkest night of the year. Minutes after we finished the 2014 Hottie Draft we recorded this gem.
