THE PURGE had all the makings of a good film. It was all right there for them to knock this out of the park. And then everything sucked cock. Law and Moreno sit down and watch this disaster with a few beers and try to figure out where it all went wrong. We deal with things such as what celebrity we would visit if the Purge was real. What if the Purge was just tickling – this changes our celebrity answers drastically. Where the hell does the daughter go for 95% of this film? And then we just scream “WHY!!!!!!!!” at the screen over and over until we’re both crying. It was fun.

Google Voice is up to her old tricks with a 3-part disaster and incomprehensible message to end the show. Scott does his best but ends up throwing in the towel by the end of it all.

This week finds Ammon on mystery vacation duty but Moreno is back and  we have a lot to discuss.

First up is the huge news from the Game of Thrones camp that a certain character from the books will not be appearing in the TV show. Moreno and I disect what this means for both the show and the novels. Google Voice shows up to confuse everybody for 10 minutes then leaves. During TV Round-Up we catch up with the season finale of Louie, set eyes upon the pilot for Tyrant, stay in touch with Jack Bauer, shit on True Blood, and look forward to The Leftovers and The Strain.

During What Did We Watch we both check out THE RAID 2 while I also fit in UNDER THE SKIN and The Don Rickles Tribute on Spike TV.

Well, that’s all folks.  It’s been a glorious season (series?) for the best show on TV this year.  So far. Everything from the top notch performances, writing, directing, to the soundtrack, Fargo simply delivered the best of the best every single week.

Well. That’s going to do it for the fourth season of Game of Thrones.  Who knew it’d end this way?  King Stannis shows up at The Wall and drops his pants in front of everyone while Ser Davos uses his missing fingers to tickle his King’s royal butthole.  I thought that went a little too far.  And how about that scene with Jaime and Tyrion?  In a hundred I never would’ve guessed that Tyrion’s suggestion to play “paddy cake” with Jaime would lead to his death.  And what are we to make of the sex scene between Cersei and Shae?  That actually didn’t go far enough for me.

There’s still no confirmation on whether or not Ammon survived his camping  trip but we recorded a new show anyway. Filling in for the broccoli stalk is the great Garrett Collins of AdventureAmigos.net. Garrett is kind enough to inform us of what else is happening on the internet these days, why he hates leaving his house, what makes him cry, and the dozens of projects he’s working on.

He also gets to play the Google Voice game, help review 22 JUMP STREET, watches THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, and declares his love for Louie.

Now can we finally agree that Fargo is the best show on TV?  Game of Thrones can have a good episode here and there, but on a sheer consistency basis, there’s no contest. MovieFreak and I come up with more Breaking Bad comparisons and continue to marvel at Billy Bob Thorton’s amazing range in the show.  Seriously, the guy is phenomenal. Aces!
