Jim Law and I have stumbled upon a new way of watching Game of Thrones:  The Completely Unnecessary Game of Thrones version.  Wanna play?  What if Hot Pie gave the wolf bread to Brienne, then slapped her face?  And then horses started fucking in the background?  When Prince Oberyn Moreno tells Tyrion the story of how they first met, what if Tyrion listened intently while eating a slice of pizza? And then they started playing DS together?  It’s silly, stupid and fun, but beware, a lot of self-laughing this episode.

Welcome to another epic edition of the Binge Cast where we talk about everything from our personal Game of Thrones house sigils to “You know, that song about the music and then the radio is on?” Ammon is so drunk at the end of this episode Law and Moreno are a little scared.

When it comes to What Did You Watch This Week, Moreno fires off 6 or 7 30 for 30 documentaries. Ammon watches NEIGHBORS, THE MECHANIC, and JAWS. Law fits in ENEMY, and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. And then Law and Moreno get down to business with GODZILLA, answering all of Ammon’s questions about the film. Even the ones he is incapable of asking. So drunk.

Holy fuckballs.  MovieFreak and I are really starting to figure this whole Fargo thing out.  If we look at the films of the Coen Brothers, and seeing that their movies are paired up thematically, we’re 100% totally sure that Fargo ends with Nic Cage showing up and stealing a baby.

We have no idea what the fuck we’re talking about.

We’ve taken our licks from GODZILLA ’98 over the years. As recent as last week, the arrogant giant prick spit in our face after we recorded our first commentary for this film when it disappeared seconds after we finished. Finally, after years of torment, Ammon and Law get to take out every last bit of frustration with this piece of garbage. There’s too much going on in this commentary to summarize so I’ll just say this – We hate this movie with a passion and let nothing slip by us as we tear it apart, scene by scene. This is definitely one you don’t want to miss.

By all the Laws of Gods and Men, can’t we all just get along?  And by “we”, I mean, stop fucking with Tyrion.  He’s just an adorable, whore mongoring, sarcastic dwarf who just wants wine in his face area and his Dinklage sucked constantly .  I can relate.

Chalk up another win for the Binge Cast boys as we bring you another hour and a half of amazing conversation and hilarity.  Can you believe we don’t charge you for this?  You’re welcome.

MovieFreak subs in for Ammon and does a bang up job as the Google Voice substitute translator.  We take a walk down TV Round Up lane, discussing the greatness that is Fargo.  Law says farewell to Community and MovieFreak checks out 24: 24 or Die Trying. I swear that’s the name of it.  We all jump on Louie’s nutsack after a fantastic season premiere and Law checks out the first episode of Penny Dreadful.

In the “What Did You Watch This Week” segment, a portion of the show in which we discuss what we watched that particular week, Law checks out 3 Days to Kill, Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit and the documentary Sheik, a movie that easily makes it into his top 10, despite only seeing 3 movies this year.   MovieFreak revisits Fargo and the rockumentary Gimme Shelter, and I check out The Iceman and Blue Ruin, a movie that doesn’t make it in my top 10 of the year.  This starts another fight between Law and I. I win single handledly, of course. Again.

Fargo has invaded so much of my personal life that any time someone asks how I’m doing, I say, “Oh ya, real good.”  It’s disturbing, especially when said by a brown person.

We’ve been waiting for some type of connection to the 1996 Coen Brothers feature film and we’ve finally got it.  The question now:  does Malvo have knowledge of the suitcase of money?  And is that why he’s fucking with Stavros?

Whatever the deal is, we’re enjoying the ride.

We’ve discovered that in order to get into the spirit of Game of Thrones, we must speak in over the top, ridiculously obnoxious French accents. Or just French accents, if you will.  This turns out to be only funny to us, and what’s better than two podcast hosts making inside jokes?  Well, I’ll tell you (this wasn’t a rhetorical question):  farts.

One of us really dug this episode, the other hates the ending when it takes half the night to kill 11 dudes.  Get it together Night’s Watch, Winter is Coming.

That was gross.

Moreno revisits SNATCH, TRIANGLE, and SEARCHING FOR SUGAR MAN while discovering CHARLES BRADLEY: SOUL OF AMERICA and SIDE EFFECTS.

Law watches WALK OF SHAME, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, BLUE RUIN, NEIGHBORS, and revisits SLING BLADE.

It was a rough week and we were kicked around a bit but we will not back down from this GODZILLA 98 commentary. Even though we already recorded one, and then lost every second of it, we have decided this fight is not over. We will defeat Zilla, next week.
