Binge Media

This track goes south quickly, and by “south” I mean we talk about buttholes. A lot. It doesn’t help that the main piece of evidence in the bank robberies is a picture of a butthole. We also have issues with Lori Petty and are quite certain, by the end, that she was strictly cast in this film as Keanu Reeves’ stunt double and somehow managed to get into one of the lead roles. They might as well be playing twins. Moreno, Law, and Ammon (whom leaves at some point because he’s had enough) are on the top of their games here. Join us for the fun facts, drunk ramblings, and awkward yelling and stay for the buttholes.

Jack and Law have decided it’s time to narrow down exactly what it is that’s holding the Strain back from being a great show. The vamps and their stingers are cool, vamp-slaying Fray is badass, and even Eff is coming into his own. Everything else is starting to bother us. Everything. There’s a great premise here but being held back by coocki-cutter characters and cliche bullshit that comes along with shitty writers trying to make this story acceptable to the general viewing audience. This show doesn’t have it’s own voice yet and we’re worried it will never find it. Enough ranting, listen to the commentary to hear what we’re talking about.

Moreno, Ammon, and Law are back together once again for another stroll through La-La Land. Google Voice is there too, confusing the boys with her stubborn inability to listen and relay the easiest of words.

TV Round-Up is overflowing with talk of Ray Donovan, The Strain, The Knick, Tiny House Nation, Big Brother, and other stuff I can’t remember because of this punishing hangover.

What Did You Watch is also jam packed as the boys review NEED FOR SPEED, OUT OF THE FURNACE, 30 MINUTES OR LESS, THE SPECTACULAR NOW, THE SACRAMENT, THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, DRAFT DAY, COLD IN JULY, TURTLE POWER, 22 JUMP STREET, CHEF, and 3/4 of DIVERGENT.

Stay tuned later this week for our commentary for The Strain and a brand new commentary for POINT BREAK in the near future.

Law and Jack are back to make your weekly viewing of The Strain a little less spooky. We do this by focusing on the little things – how everybody looks good in a hat at concentration camps, why vampires wear wigs, and exactly what the hell Setrakian is mumbling every time he bitch slaps a Slimy Dick Mouth with his sword. Things kind of picked up this episode so don’t be so quick to drop this show like a regular sized house, Ammon. Everybody grab their flashlight lightsabers and meet us in the sewer. “Have you ever seen a rat dick?”

Ammon, Law, and Moreno are back to fill your face holes with joyous verbal garbage. There’s the Google Voice game, Tiny House talk, a banning from the show, questions, answers, burps, and not a single pee break to be seen. We do it all for you. NOTE: Moreno does fall asleep before the end of the show. This can not be helped.

TV Round-Up has tons of talk about the final season of The Killing, Ray Donovan, The Strain, The Americans, Drunk History, Tyrant, and others.

What Did You Watch gets funky with reviews of TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, CHEF, ANCHORMAN 2, OLD BOY, ZOMBIELAND, PREDATORS, THE KARATE KID PART II, and some Universal Monsters classics.

Stay tuned for The Strain commentary later this week and a Binge Music Cast whenever Moreno wakes up (December).

MovieFreak and Law are back with another deep analysis of The Strain. Why are there so many crosses? This is the one issue we get caught up on this week. Almost every scene features some sort of Jesus symbol in the background and it’s starting to bother us. Other things discussed include the amount of time spent on the Latino badass dude, the lack of the badass exterminator, possibly the show’s greatest moment when Eff pulls a 20 foot penis out of a corpse, and why The Wire is so awesome. We have a tough time concentrating. There’s also a cameo by Ammon’s future Tiny House. Enjoy.

What we thought was going to be an epic reunion turns out to be a regular everyday Binge Media reunion as our special guest bails last minute but Law, Ammon, and Moreno finally reunite for an entire show.

Google Voice boasts two of the best voicemails in a long time from DJ Alan One and Eric (Larry) King and Moreno and Law grill Ammon about his Tiny House lifestyle change.

TV Round-Up spills dirt on The Strain, Drunk History, The Killing, Ray Donovan, and The Bates Motel.

What Did You Watch gets epic with GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, THE BATTERED BASTARDS OF BASEBALL, and SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE.

It’s still too much podcast to handle, even without our fucktard of a special guest. Fuck that guy.

Jack and Law are back on track with their commentary for the first season of the Strain and the latest episode does not disappoint. Among the many issues we talk about are Jack’s disbelief that every swanky loft office in Manhattan has digital touchpad security, what the fuck is up with Vasiliy’s accent, why we wanted to see a dude’s dick, and Jack’s anger towards people with cancer. We’re loving the look of the monsters, LORD OF THE RINGS references and the fact that the kid is not Caaaaaarl from The Walking Dead. Press play. Hold on to your junk. Enjoy.

Law, Ammon, and Kupka are here to relieve you of your weekly stresses and dive head first into everything you’ve been wondering about the past week.

Google Voice messes with Kupka’s head for a bit. We also have thoughts on the BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN footage, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD trailer, GODZILLA, and KING KONG news  from Comic Con.

TV Round-Up boasts talk of The Strain, The Leftovers, You’re the Worst, Married, Face Off, The Killing, and Orange is the New Black.

What Did You Watch is full of goodness from THE EXPENDABLES 3, LUCY, THE PURGE: ANARCHY, THE OTHER WOMAN and tons of other movies you’ve been secretly dreaming about.

All in all, another fine evening of Podcast from your favorite bunch of drunk idiots. Listen with caution.

While Jim Law drinks his face area off into oblivion (simultaneously enriching his childrens’ lives and enraging his chick), Moreno enlists Ammon and MovieFreak to drink heavily and talk some shit about all things entertainment. Not all things, just some things. Whatever.  Shut up.

We talk about things happening in the Binge Offices, the season premiere release date of Sons of Anarchy then the boys school Moreno on 24: Live Free Or Jack Bauer.  Ammon and Moreno discuss the merits of Orange is the New Black, Jack revisits the greatness of Monty Python, and Moreno updates everyone on Tyrant while completely forgetting about Ray Donovan’s season premiere, which was good.

Moreno puts both Ammon and MovieFreak to the Google Voice Test before an epic discussion of the epic tale of Noah.  Jack then reviews Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Mansome, and documentaries The Institute and Jodorowsky’s Dune.  Ammon loves Nebraska, and is lukewarm on Joe, while Moreno goes ballistic on how stupid Drive Hard is.

Another Google Voice with BingeMedia shaman DJ Alan One and the boys are out.
