After a long terrible night of podcasting in which we actually lost over three hours of recordings due to one computer glitch or another, we still managed to submit this to your ears. We really hope you like it.

It was a rough week and we were kicked around a bit but we will not back down from this GODZILLA 98 commentary. Even though we already recorded one, and then lost every second of it, we have decided this fight is not over. We will defeat Zilla, next week.

Well, there had to be some hiccups in an otherwise stellar series to date.  While we don’t consider this to be the “worst episode ever”, we agree that it left a lot to be desired; definitely a more “talky talky” episode than an “actiony actiony” episode.  Those are industry terms.

Moreno and Kupka crank call us for no reason. And then we get to the movies.

Ammon checks out OUT OF THE FURNACE, THE EAGLE, and revisits RANGO. Law watches THAT AWKWARD MOMENT, 30 FOR 30: BAD BOYS, and revisits PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, DRAG ME TO HELL, and FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS.

Binge Media is excited that we we’re finally able to adjust our schedules to fit in a weekly recording of the Fargo commentary.  The show is incredibly written, paced and acted from top to bottom; two episodes in and we’re as intrigued by its many potential storylines than any other great TV show over the last few years.  So enjoy our weekly commentary and be sure to be on the lookout for the many Big Lebowski references.

It’s been a while since we had an epic battle on the show so Law decides to revisit MAGNOLIA to get the ball rolling. Moreno and Ammon love it. Law hates it. Drunken insults ensue.

Other than us hating each other for most the episode we do find the time to come together for the Google Voice game, a TV Round-Up segment that features Fargo, Game of Thrones, The Following, and House of Cards. We also get into Literally Literary and tackle the trailer for GONE GIRL and it’s similarities to the book, the new Veronica Mars book, All You Need is Kill, True Grit, The Beach, and No Country For Old Men.

Then it’s off to What Did You Watch and the shit hits the fan. Moreno revisits THE BLUES BROTHERS for an upcoming Binge Music cast, Ammon watches PARANOIA, MR. NOBODY, and YOU’RE NEXT, and Law hates ESCAPE FROM TOMORROW and MAGNOLIA (again). The Latter of Law’s reviews sparks an argument like none we’ve ever had before as Moreno and Ammon gang up and bitch slap him back and forth. Neither side backs down. Both sides are shitfaced.

You would think that two self respecting Song of Ice and Fire fans like Jim Law and myself would break down one of the most anticipated moments/episodes of the HBO show to date.  But what you’re winding up with is a discussion on who the Binge Media staff member’s GoT counterpart are, why for the 15th time do we have to hear how Shae is every one of Moreno’s ex-girlfriends, and yet another discussion on buttholes.

Seriously, it’s worth pointing out again that we are NOT spoiling anything in the book’s storyline.  But we DO talk about how the show differs from the book by scene.  If we talk about future events, it’s so convoluted you’d never make heads or tails of it.  We are not spoiling anything, other than your appetite.

Grab a bottle of wine for the festivities! It’s a wedding after all!
