  • The Existential Episode

But are we comedy? Why even are we here if not to make you laugh? Vice says the world’s ending, and they should know. We talked about Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz getting Slurpee’d, or Jamba Juiced, or whatever. General consensus was that it is good. There was a great bit we cut out about why Q is jealous of millennials because he feels like he missed out on his prime ass-eating years. Maybe we’ll use it next week.

The End of Miami presented by Bird Road is coming June 19 at Life House Little Havana. RSVP on Facebook, like some kind of Boomer freak gasping out your dying breaths.

    Music is by David Rosen.

  • We Don’t Count the Eps Anymore. We Call No Man Master.

Our next live show is June 19 at Life House Little Havana. RSVP to make sure you get a good seat, or just show up early, I suppose. Or don’t. It’s your life.

Grosse Point Blank is maybe the best movie from 1997. Going to the movies is maybe better than watching TV. Maggie Haberman works the highest profile beat at the New York Times maybe because her dad worked there for like 120 years.

  • Alligator Death-Rollin’ to Super Tuesday with Joe Biden

Our live show, The End of Miami, is this Wednesday, May 8. Be there.

This episode we talk about how the studios are hedging on Sonic and what makes Joe Biden as bad a candidate as he is an inevitable candidate.

Sometimes you need to let go of the worst parts of yourself to forget about and forgive the significantly worse parts of your best friends named Dave.

  • Killer Crossover Part II – Guava Island and Piecing It Together

We did another one of these because we’re lazy and I’m sick. Or I was sick. I feel better now. But at the time I was sick. We reviewed Guava Island, an accidental treatise against the seven-day work-week and capitalism in general that was produced for the explicit purpose of exulting Donald Glover’s performance at Coachella, one of capitalism’s most vulgar displays of materialism. Enjoy!

Here’s the Facebook event for our upcoming live show at Life House in Little Havana. If you’re in Miami, you should be there.

  • Kirstjen “Dime Piece” Nielsen & the GOP’s Sunny Future

In Episode 60, we talk about why Benihana cooks’ lives matter more than every liberal arts major’s, what our camera roles can tell us about the wide-eyed innocence of our pre-2016 selves, and what the two parties will look like after they crumble into themselves.

Bonus content: Jewish Dave makes an unintentionally racist joke and stands by it.

  • Black Girls Prepare cofounders Shaun-Teka Joyner and Amber Morgan tell you why your earthquake kit sucks

The big one is coming, folks. Don’t fool yourselves. In
California, it’ll be a devastating earthquake. In Florida, a disastrous
hurricane. In Nevada, a crippling water shortage and dust storms. And in New
    York, I dunno… tainted avocados?

Whatever reality you’re living, you need to know how to get ready. We talked to Shaun-Teka Joyner and Amber Morgan, cofounders of Black Girls Prepare, about how women of color who might not have this topic top-of-mind can gain a safe, comfortable entry point to learn more about disaster prep without having to listen to hours of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity or joining a militia.

  • Dissecting the Ronald Miller Report with Legal Expert David Rosen

We’ve created more than 60 hours worth of episodes and not once have we mentioned Russia or the Robert Mueller report or any of that grift-happy cable news dipshittery, but it’s kind of all that’s happening in the news so yeah we’re gonna be talking about that for this episode.

Follow us on Twitter and Instagram. If you absolutely must, we also have a Facebook page, but we’re warning you, Facebook is garbage. We mostly disregard that page.

  • Don’t Feed the Concern Trolls

    Please sir… My son… He… He is so stupid…

It’s a Just Dem Boyz episode. Rejoice with us as we enjoy the final days of Tucker Carlson on television. Laugh with us as we consider the corrupting influence of getting a stupid child into college. Ponder along with us as we wonder why Beto O’Rourke refuses to acknowledge his involvement with Goof Troop. All this, and more, in the latest edition of Bird Road.

  • Hope Springs Eternal in Southern Nevada (But It’s a Dry Heat)

This week, Jewish Dave sits down with Las Vegas journalist extraordinnaire C. Moon Reed to talk about her recent examination of the effects of climate change in Nevada, and what — if anything — can possibly be done.

You can follow her on Twitter here, read the piece here, and check out her reporting for the Las Vegas Sun here.

Meanwhile, Q and Jewish Dave talk about why everyone should be a “no” on Joe (Biden, get it, it rhymes) and Super Typhoons that are probably going to kill half the planet.

  • The Color of Wealth in Miami (Spoiler Alert: It’s White)

In one of our smarter episodes, Q sat and spoke with two of the authors of a recently released report, The Color of Wealth in Miami, a joint publication of The Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at The Ohio State University, the Samuel DuBois Cook Center on Social Equity at Duke University, and the Insight Center for Community Economic Development.

In separate interviews, Darrick Hamilton, executive director of the Kirwan Institute, and Alan Aja, associate professor in the Department of Puerto Rican and Latino Studies, discuss the disparities in outcomes between groups that, unsurprisingly, fall along racial lines.

You can read more about the report here.
