The mid 80's were the greatest time for not only movies, but also robots. They were the future. The way the were portrayed on film was either friendly machines that would help you do things around the house, or rampaging killing machines. This weeks episode contains the latter.
Although anything with Barbara Crampton in it is fine with us, this movie has some serious problems. The special effects are not so special, and it seems like the robot design was really not thought out at all. They can shoot lasers at you but seem to enjoy pinching more than anything.
But it is still worth a watch and has all the stereotypes of this era that you can think of.
So join us as we debut a new and expensive method of choosing what we watch in the Birdcave and maybe break out into a random karaoke challenge while we loiter in the food court of...Chopping Mall!
