The Shiromani Akalil Dal (SAD) has left the ruling NDA, buoyed by the farmers’ protests against the three farm Bills, which the Parliament passed in the recently concluded Monsoon Session. With this exit, the BJP has lost another ally following the TDP and the Shiv Sena in recent years. 

Now, the Congress challenged the Jannayak Janta Party — BJP’s ally in Haryana — to leave NDA. Will the JJP be forced to leave the NDA next? What does this mean for the coalition?
