Let's talk about a very special day... A day when you are up all night the day before just to cook. A day when your family gets to meet your new boo for the first time. A day when you have to be reminded that you’ve gained some weight and you find out if you are in fact "grown" based on what table you have to sit at. If you haven't already guessed it, we're talking about Thanksgiving. For some people this is just a day to eat all day, but in the black community this is a historic event. Not only is this a time to fellowship with family/friends but it's a time to let go of petty disagreements and show love to one another. Today we talk about a very special day for us but we couldn't do that without our wives. So we brought back Esperanza(52's wife) & Aubrey(Erv's wife) to talk about the wonderful Thanksgiving memories from the past & present. So grab your friends/family, a plate of food and join us as we reflect on such a special day. Make sure you eat good, love your family & enjoy this day. Happy Thanksgiving Kin Folk!!!

Since 1996 we've heard the great philosopher Sean Carter make the saying "Politics As Usual" popular amongst the hip hop community. It's been used so much that is can be simply translated as "it is what it is" in our culture. From not getting a job promotion, to having to explain your side of a story & even your favorite sports team not having a winning season. We all know that feeling of things just being the same as they always are. But did you know that the saying is actually used when speaking about politics? We know that this is an election year and for some this was one of the most important elections for several different reasons. No matter what your party affiliation is we've all had our own thoughts of how this election should've gone, one way or another. So today we discuss our thoughts on the election and the mental state of mind that we're in after everything that has happen thus far. Lastly we speak on what we can do as a community to help not only ourselves but our people.
