His guests are some of the team behind the course, including Harry Hawkins (Executive Vice President of Nehemiah/Justified Anger) and Dr. Karen Reece-Phiffer (Director of Program Research/Evaluation for Nehemiah/Justified Anger). One of the course participants, Chris Wood, also joins the discussion to share how attendees are transformed by the content and experience of the course.
Hear how the team approached the design and facilitation of the course program. The class aims to move past intellectual exercises and into emotional understanding and action. With an academic approach, the course balances engagement with the head and the heart.

On a special Mother's Day episode, Dr. Alex Gee reflects on the journey of his mother through her story of perseverance, strength, and family. His mother's book of poetry provides insight into the Black experience in America and wise lessons that a mother passes on to her family.
On this episode Dr. Gee tackles some of the common arguments heard from White people when trying to explain racist commentary. Hear his thoughts on "All Lives Matter" and other popular phrases in American culture. Dr. Gee also shares his own encounters with whitesplaining.
Dr. Gee talks with owner and chef, Tamearra Dyson, of Souley Vegan in Oakland, CA. She has been cooking her signature vegan dishes since the age of 18 and was recently featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network. Patrick Yates tells the story of how he split his time between human resources with TDS and as the Director of Operations for the Justified Anger movement. Together they discuss diversity in the workplace and corporate environment.
