I don’t eat Doritos. That shouldn’t be surprising. But what if I told you I have never had Doritos? Or chili? Kunta always seems so put off by my inability to eat like the rest of the world. I eat a lot of processed foods (so does everyone else). But Doritos is not one of those food items.

Meanwhile Kunta thinks he is better than the rest of us because he shops at Trader Joe’s. As if TJ’s doesn’t sell processed BS food also. Whole Foods, Harris Teeter, Trader Joe’s…none of them are really selling you better food. Fight me! Kunta reads the back of his most recent TJ’s purchase and Aha…processed. And processed in another country.

California is back on Pandemic Lockdown. Meanwhile the vaccine is “ready”. Who is taking this? Everyone I speak with is saying that they aren’t but can it possibly become a mandatory thing? We don’t even know what the vaccine is actually successful at doing. Prevention? Transmission? Mortality? I am going to wait…Most likely a really long time.

Kunta wants Georgians to go back out and vote again. In order to get the Legislative branch to make any moves during this presidency, Dems need to get one of the two seats up for the taking.

Black On Both Sides Episode #106

Fight Night has come and gone. Who knew Nate Robinson had aspirations of following in Bo Jackson and Deion Sander’s footsteps? These guys were both able to have successful careers in multiple sports. Both were also Hall Of Famers in at least one sport.

Then there is Nate Robinson, who is a dunk champion, but will not be a Hall Of Famer by any stretch of the imagination. Why boxing? Why at this age? For your kids?

Supreme Court is showing its conservative colors now that the new appointee has become settled. Kunta called it. Trump has began the transition but not without a little F You on the way out. WHen asked if he will be attending the inauguration, he said that he isn’t sure. However, in case you were not busy on inauguration day, Trump’s team has rumored that they will be broadcasting alternative programming. I don’t know about you but I am definitely watching the alternative programming.

Black On Both Sides Episode #105

Unless you take into account how Trump will not concede, keeping Biden out of the security briefings; and COIVD-19 unleashing an new hellfire campaign…This was a really fun episode. We had a blast talking about Verzuz and Dentists and Music, and actors, etc.

But…you sort of have to consider that Trump has decided to fight tooth and nail to prove that the Dems stole the election. Even though, there is pretty much no chance he can win, he assures us he will not go quietly. One of the consequences of this is that Biden gets no intel. Biden has to sit outside of the doors hearing brief whispers of Russia and the Middle East. Meanwhile, Trump nods off inside.

And do you remember that the world is in Pandemic mode? Trump supporters didn’t when they showed up downtown in D.C. for a rally to make sure people know who they love. Masks were not only optional, they were frowned upon.

If you live in GA, listen up. Kunta has a message and an explanation as to why your vote for the Senate run-off is of the utmost importance.

A few days after the election and the tides seem to have turned. We usher in a new President and potentially a new way of doing politics…again. The world seems to be hopeful as evidenced by celebrations in foreign territories. But wait a minute, almost half of the voters thought Trump would be the best choice. After four ears of the evidence he provided, they still thought he was the best candidate.

Hey Georgia! We see you! Something’s different about you. Did you get a haircut? New makeup? I can’t quite put my finger on it, but you are fine as hell all of a sudden. After seeing Georgia flip, can you honestly say that your vote doesn’t count?

Kunta got dentally outsourced an upon his arrival was told that they had already scheduled him for a root canal that was taking place in just a few minutes. Hey dentists, it is hard to make a case for you when you continuously do this guy this way.

Mike Tyson very calmly shut Boosie down with a gay accusation. Just for the record, if Mike was calling you gay, how would you handle it?

Dez Bryant and Anthony Brown find new homes. And both of our teams are still suffering.

I decided to pass on the debate and apparently missed a real debate. Not that it was good…but at least it was a debate. The mute button was only pressed a couple of times. THis debate is not going to make any staunch supporters switch sides, but apparently Biden may have made an F’ing error. Fracking error. 100% emission free America? C’mon son!

We recently had our deadliest day in Covid Deaths. Kunta thinks we need to do more and plan better. This may be true, but I try to advocate for the devil in hopes of bringing a little logic into the conversation. Is this virus controllable? Or shall we just make room for its heavy footprint?

Either way and no matter who wins Kunta thinks we are in for a dark winter of death.

Black On Both Sides Episode #101

YEs! We have gotten over the hundred hump and Kunta is still talking about those 9 out of 10 dentists. He did, however, not make an appointment to see any of them. And now his whole right side is in jeopardy. Maybe if he respected them as doctors and not charlatans, he would get better treatment and results.

Did you know that one time Michael Jackson was SO Michale Jackson that he did an entire performance from a chair? Injuries don’t stop the King Of Pop. And no you can’t have your money back.

I did not know that Jay-Z and MJ had a song together and apparently it was good.

The Lakers have what some would call the worst role players of all time. It is amazing to me that with this rag tag group of “others”, people are still not willing to give LeBron his roses. If LeBron isn’t the GOAT, there should still be a conversation.

Regardless, anyone sending death threats to Danny Green and his family needs to get a life to live. This is just a game!

The Vice Presidential debate happened and we saw it differently. Apparently, things aren’t so black and white (where have I heard that?). Harris dodged the stacking the court question and Pence dodged the peaceful exchange of power question. Which of those is worse?

In a surprising turn of events, Trump get Rona and the world goes mad. Conspiracy theorists started in with stories of doubt and pharmaceutical investments. Kunta doe snot care about any of that. He cares about the fact that Trump is so eager to spread his sickness with everyone. He immediately scheduled a full time campaign run.

Does he have the Corona Virus? Yes. Is he going on a full campaign tour? Yes. Super spreader? Maybe.

Derek Chauvin makes bond and also gets granted the ability to move to a safer location while he awaits trial. Meanwhile Police supporter, Jonathan Price gets killed in a seemingly innocuous dust up. Do these things have a correlation? In 2020, hell yeah!

FBI says that white supremacists are the number one threat to American safety. And we have kidnapping plots foiled in Michigan. Do these things has a correlation? Apparently in 2020, they do!

Black On Both Sides Episode #99

Kunta is still working on his name. Who knows where this thing will end up…but I know that KingiestKuntaest3xiest is not going to work. We are hopeful that Kunta will come up with something soon.

He decides to get stuck on the fact that I have what some would consider to be weird eating habits. I reveal that I do not eat anything cold nor do I drink anything hot. This does not compute.

What has verzuz come to? Now we are about to witness a verzuz that our grandparents would be proud of. I’m not interested in the b-roll conversations that Ms Patti and Ms Gladys are going to have between songs. Also, did Monica wear fake Fendi?

Sports is back in full effect. The NFL has decided to get on the right (profitable) side of history by adhering to BLM standards. Many signs that they plan to do the right thing this year when it comes to social awareness.

Somehow, no one told the fans at the first game of the season based on them booing the Texans for locking arms in solidarity at the beginning of the game. Read the damn memo we are standing up for social justice, not booing the actors.

Trump almost admits to lying about his awareness of the danger of COVID in the very beginning of this pandemic. I’m not sure anyone knew what to expect including Trump. So I am not so willing to call him a liar. Let’s at least leave the door open in light of how fast experts were changing their minds in the beginning of this crisis.

Over the weekend LA County police officers were ambushed in a parked car and shot several times. The officers are in critical condition and there are people outside of the hospital asking god to make sure they don’t return to service. Some people believe this was part of the BLM movement. Kunta is appalled that one of his family members believes that.

Black On Both Sides Episode #98

2020 is trying to punk us. Kunta has been victimized in the midst. His high ankle sprain turned into a possible fracture. Then his possible fracture turned into a definite fracture. His soft cast turned into a boot. And we haven’t even had an MRI yet. Prayers and thoughts to young Kunta!

Tyler Perry finally found his way onto the Forbes billionaire list and Kanye is pacing at his Montana mansion wondering why no one disputed it. I did hear that he out earned all other artists by far, though.

Dave Chappelle went ahead and had his Pandemic Block Party. Kunta was ready to hate on this until he learned that Dave got his own rapid Covid testing kit and made sure everyone was safe.

Attorney General Barr has decided that Jacob Blake has committed a felony and may have tainted the legal waters for any future litigation. Should our AG give his “opinion” of a future case?

Some guy in Minnesota shot his wife and a couple fo black people. Then shot many shots at the police officers that came to arrest him. Surprisingly, the man was taken into custody with no harm. Kunta feels like this is gross misconduct in light of the young man that died of asphyxiation in Rochester, NY. One man was black and one man was white. I will let you guess which is which.

Trump thinks the Troops that have given their lives in combat are losers. And people that serve their countries are suckers. Well, at least that is what Kunta says. I hope this is not real.
