We got a couple guests this week joining Bob and The Count. Lara Bates and Emma Rose of from The Challenger Learning Center. The Challenger Learning Center is a space simulation learning experience where they take people and simulate a real space exploration mission. From the communications at ground control, to the life support crew, and even the people that take care of controlling the experiment equipment, this is a real immersive experience. Lara and Emma have asked to come onto the show to help promote their Center's big fundraising time, and they did not come empty handed. Bob found an article discussing some of the unexplained and spooky occurrences found in space, and asks our panel of experts to discuss their reasonings for what was seen. Everything from space snakes, to weird knocking noises, this is one episode you won't want to miss! Big thanks to Lara Bates and Emma Rose, the Communications Coordinator of the Challenger Learning Center for coming on.

Imagine you are hanging out in a familiar spot. Mall, arcade, or even just a friends house. Maybe you are at some location for work, or even your own home. You are lazily leaning against a wall, when suddenly...You clip out of existence. Yo are transported to an area that looks like just a forgotten add on to a room. Old non-finished carpet, old dried wall paper, and just a feeling of being some place forgotten. Some place forbidden. You call out for help, but only a hear growl back. You hear that growl coming closer...You try to run but only find yourself running through an area that look very similar to the last. This is loop. You are in a plane of existence...the Back Room. The back room creepy pasta structure is common story telling trope online which someone falls through a wall, clipping themselves out of reality and end up in these backrooms. Once there, writers create a universe using this area. Some stories leave their characters a lone, some are pitted against some sort of monster type creature. Either way, this place is not one you would like to come into. Bob reads two stories about the backrooms from aspiring paranormal writers, and shares his thoughts on how this sort relates to the SCP Foundation's Never Ending Ikea. Bob also has three news stories this week. The first one is about a young poet in Scotland, Len Pennie, whom is raising a campaign to help remember folks who were executed during the Scotland Witch Trials. The second story gives us an idea of what and how the dinosaurs came to being extinct. Finally, Bob and the Count look at a mysterious hole that opened up on Mars.

Creepy Pasta Story Month is upon us, Children of the Night. This is the month were we celebrate all things internet spooky telling. Creepy Pastas are modern lore written by writers who have the foundations for creating stories that will last a long time and be the building blocks for paranormal stories in the future. Some of these leave you with the idea that this could be potentially true. Some are just stories. This week for kick off, we look at a infamous creepy past, Sonic.exe. This story tells of two friends who are haunted a by a bootleg copy of Sonic the Hedgehog (Sega Genesis) that holds a dark secret...a evil spirit that can creep from virtual world to the real one. Hear Bob read the story, and hear his take on a story that features, get this, hyper realistic blood. Also joining the team is Scott Forsythe, the creator of Haunted Honey with Bee Guyz. Find out about his bee keeping job, and how it took a paranormal turn when he discovered combs in haunted cemeteries in New Orleans. You can find out more about haunted honey here:

New Jersey is home to a few things. Skee-ball, Kevin Smith, a certain shore, and one of the most haunted stretches of road in America. This week on Bob After Dark, we look at Clinton Road. There are many ghost encounters that are said to occur on the road. Including: A ghost boy who throws change at you, ghost trucks that want to run you off the road, and ghost giraffes. Also found there was a body left behind by serial killer, Richard Kuklinski (The Ice Man).
Ever been a teenager at a slumber party? If so, maybe you played something similar. You and your group of friends walk into a bathroom, turn off the lights, and look into the mirror. You say, "Bloody Mary" three times. Then? Maybe she appears. Or perhaps, one of your friends lie down flat on the ground, and the other attempt to levitate said person with their fingers by reciting, "Light as a feather, stiff as a board." Well, these are just a couple of these games that have deep rooted lore. This week on Bob After Dark, we look at several of these rituals including: The Ravenman, The Three Kings, The Elevator Game, and Playing Hide and Seek with yourself. All of these games have VERY strict rules on how to play, and can be very dangerous if performed proper. Be careful!
It may not be true that the Alamo has a basement, but it does hold some ghostly secrets. This week on Bob After Dark we look at several ghost stories surrounding the Texas city. Learn a little bit about The Alamo's Ghosts, a haunted hotel by the name of the Sheraton Gunter Hotel, and some haunted railroad tracks. Each of these stories where brought to us by the Ghost City Tours (their San Antonio branch.) You can find out more about their organization over at https://ghostcitytours.com/.
Do not get them wet. Do expose them to bright light. ABOVE ALL ELSE do NOT feed them past midnight! We are ringing in the new year correctly to address the technical monsters known as gremlins. Popularized by the film of the same name, this episode we look into the lore behind the monster. Way back in World War One, fighter piolets would create stories about any issues they had with their planes. Any thing from compass malfunctions, to birds flying into engines. All corelated back to the monsters known as gremlins. Professional wrestler and paranormal investigator, Steve Michaels joins the talks this week. We do break paranormal talks for a moment to discuss Steve's professional wrestling career in Ohio Valley Wrestling (Or OVW for short). Oh, yeah, and you'll also learn about the car...The Gremlin. No relation.
Minus the scary creature known as the Wendigo, are there other bits of cryptid lore from the cold north? Well, yes. In fact, there are a lot. This week we celebrate the great people of the Inuit tribes, as we share some of their scarier legends surrounding their culture. A lot of these stories are very ancient and do not have a lot of their history written down. To help preserve these tales, we dive right in. Everything from demon dogs, to tundra witches, and even were-moose make it into this episode.
Brrrrrr. It is cold. Very cold. All December long we have been looking at lore dealing with cold places or just cold theming. While thinking about what episodes to put out, Bob had a thought. Are there ghost stories or cryptids associated with the tundra known as Antarctica. To his surprise, there defiantly is! Ghosts associated with victims of plane crashes, snow falls, and even a cryptid sightings of something we are dubbing as the were-seal.
You're wandering through the woods. It's dark. It's spooky. It's literally what every scary story is made of. You feel the chill in the air. Then, all of a sudden, you hear. A blood curdling scream and a loud rushing noise coming toward you. Staring you down in a twelve foot tall deer skeleton with ripping skin. The last few moments you have left alive, you need to know what is taking you down. This is the Wendigo. This week on Bob After Dark, the boys are looking at a winter lore figure. The devastating cryptid that has terrorized northern native people for centuries. Learn the history dating back to 1600's of this cannibal turned creature.
