if you find yourself in winter, whether a real winter like this one that's never ending, or if it is a figurative winter and really hard crappy circumstance, I see you.
If it’s been too long since you’ve seen the sun (literal and figurative) this episode is for you. Being in a storm that you don’t want to be in is hard, today I am sharing what has helped me to feel better in a storm/ sucky situation, how to reduce suffering, and most of all just to be someone sitting in the storm with you.
Spring will come.
My DM’s are always open if you need a friend to talk to.
Spring has (theoretically) sprung! Spring equinox was this past week which marks the start of the astrological New Year, and is a much better time to set new goals than the new years we celebrated back in January.
Symbolically spring is the time of new beginnings and perfect for planting seeds, both figuratively and literally. So let’s harness this energy, clear away the dead to make room for new growth, plant those seeds (create those goals) and prepare for the year ahead.
I would love to know what you thought about this episode. I would love to know what you’re clearing out and what seeds you’re planting. You can find me on instagram @ positively.jessie or shoot me an email at [email protected]
Anger is an emotion that gets a bad rap. I get it, it can look ugly and it can get expressed in unhealthy ways. But anger is an emotion just like joy, excitement, or sadness and when we are willing to look and to fully feel and experience it, anger can be a wonderful teacher and lead to a healthy emotional release.
I’d love to hear what you thought about this episode. Let’s talk about it all! You can find me in the DM’s on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/positively.jessie/
This is a fill your cup kind of episode. Emily Louis speaks so much love and truth into us about learning how to really, truly, deeply love and celebrate ourselves. Through a faith crisis that she believes she was gifted, Emily was able to work through a lot to get to a place of not only self acceptance but to self love and celebration.

Vulnerability is a word that has been floating around the past few years, thanks to Brene Brown, and a think a lot of us have made an effort to lean in and be more vulnerable. But honestly, I think we are still just scratching the surface. Today I am sharing my thoughts on real (like really real) vulnerability and the magic we can experience when we fully show up and allow ourselves to be seen AND when we allow others to do the same.

A word of the year can be a fun way to use the power of intentions. In this episode I am sharing how my word of the year revealed itself to me, what I'm most excited about, and the power the setting intentions really does have in our lives.
Let’s connect and chat about your intentions for this year. Find me on Instagram and let’s chat in the DM’s https://www.instagram.com/positively.jessie/
The new year is a time of goal setting, intentions, re-starts...but it's the dead of winter. Winter is a time of rest, going inward, slowing down....so if you are feeling lost or conflicted about starting this new year with big dreams and goals, listen up. I'm talking through my own thoughts and intentions about how I can still honor rest and lean into the natural cycle of winter, while still moving forward into a new year.

Today I am sharing about the idea of checking in with ourselves this year and honoring our capacity. Some years we have it all together. We’re doing all the things, volunteering all the places, and checking everything off everyone’s list (neighbors and teachers included). We might have other years where we just want to hide under a blanket, turn on the fire and wait for it to all be over, or a lot of years are somewhere in between.
This episode will help you determine what you want your holiday season to look and feel like, how to honor yourself, your feelings, and your boundaries. AND how to have a magical holiday season no matter what your current capacity is.
