Do you remember the last time you received a compliment from a stranger? Someone told you that you had a nice smile, they liked your jacket, your work was well done? What did it trigger in you? Did you feel shy or nervous or uncomfortable?
Today's episode is longer than most of the Monday episodes so you'll hear some changes at the beginning and end.

Loyalty to someone other than yourself is the breeding ground for inauthenticity and for surrendering your autonomy. Autonomy is the antithesis of codependency and a crucial ingredient in interdependence. Today's show is an invitation to look at where in your relationships perfectionism - the rules, expectations or obligations, have overpowered autonomy.

Acknowledging your co-creators throughout your life opens the doors for more collaborative efforts, less loneliness and exponential impact and abundance. Your trauma-response independence is blocking your abundance.
Today I'm inviting you to reflect with some insightful questions at the end of the episode.

Being loyal to your own core values, your truest and highest self is the most effective long term strategy for health, happiness and fulfillment but most of us have agreed to loyalty in many areas of our lives.
Loyalty to anyone outside of yourself is going to create resentment, lost time and inauthenticity and delay your efforts to be the person you were born to be.

One of the reasons I didn't express gratitude is because of the rules I assumed and adopted about the right and wrong way (perfectionism) to say thanks. I watched adults and peers deny thanks, defer it, deflect it and expect it. We will dig into these topics in this series but today we are talking about the rules that say there is a right time, a right way and by default the wrong way to express thanks.
A review would mean the world to me. Thank you for joining me on this journey and sharing how this podcast has helped you.

Do you feel annoyed at others who are resting, playing or relaxing when there is so much to do?
These are just a few examples of productivity-based self worth. In this episode, I give you 8 signs you are operating from this productivity-based self worth and 6 steps to start shifting into alignment and fulfillment.

As recovering perfectionists, we are unlearning the patterns and habits of people pleasing, procrastination guilt, performative based self worth and preoccupation of flaws.
But as humans we crave meaningful impact and a sense of purpose - above all we want peace, ease and joy.
So how do you close the gap between the anxiety of how to get it all done and the "hard work" of achieving goals to becoming a person who enjoys life, feels at peace and accomplishes dreams?
What is the KEY ingredient to moving from where you are to where you want to be?
That's what we dive into in this episode. Thanks for listening.

If you are like me, you've been working hard to reach your goals for most of your life. And you have found yourself exhausted, occasionally defeated and most definitely burnt out.
What if that wasn't actually how all the successful people we look up to actually achieved their success? What if the path to accomplishing dreams and having everything we want was about NOT focusing on the goals, but something different?
I pivoted from this path of a goal-driven life a few years ago...and it's been working.
