 In eighty-one minutes, two thieves dressed as policemen, made off with 13 pieces of artwork; with an estimated value of half a billion dollars. Works by Vermeer, Degas, and Rembrandt were stripped from their frames never to be seen by the public again.

Deep within the criminal underground, theories of their whereabouts and those who perpetrated the heist are abundant.
