This episode is different — a BONUS EPISODE we wanted to share in between our normal Tuesday releases.
We recorded live at Caddy’s Golf Lounge during the Battle Bash for Skylar, a day centered around community, support, and a little girl whose strength has already impacted so many people. Because of everyone who showed up, donated, and spread the word, we raised over $4,250 to help Skylar and her family.
Born with a severe form of Pierre Robin Sequence, Skylar has faced surgeries, a NICU stay, therapies, and ongoing medical challenges all before her first birthday.
In this conversation, we sit down with Skylar’s dad, Ryan Muhlenkamp, to talk about what this journey has really been like — not from a medical perspective, but from a father’s point of view. The fear, the uncertainty, the resilience, and the moments where community makes all the difference.
We’re incredibly grateful to Ryan, Faith, and the Muhlenkamp family for trusting us with their story — and to everyone who continues to support them. If this episode moves you, share it, reach out, and keep showing up for the people around you.
