On November 2, 1945, 14 year old Thora Chamberlain was walking with friends after school to a football game.  They were approached by a man in a Plymouth dressed as a serviceman.  He told Thora his sister needed a babysitter for 30 minutes, so, she agreed to go, trusting the man in uniform.  Thora was never seen or heard from again.  Despite her body having never been found, the State of California would try the suspect in her killing with murder, and it would become the first no body conviction ever in the state.  Voicemail Courtesy of Deana in Michigan.
