The Book of Revelation offers a stark contrast to the mystic and spiritual portrayal of Jesus in the Gospels by presenting him as a divine Judge executing judgment and justice upon the world. The distinct roles and characteristics of Jesus in these two parts of the New Testament demonstrate the multifaceted nature of his identity and the different aspects of his mission, emphasizing love and forgiveness in the Gospels and divine judgment in Revelation. These contrasting depictions of Jesus reflect the theological diversity within the New Testament and its varied messages for different contexts and audiences.

The following is my interpretation only it does not represent the mainstream, theological narrative. I believe there are different voices of Jesus and when we look deeper, we discover a disturbing but poignant narrative that not only do we need to look at the actual data, but also question the narrative we needed.

- In this verse, I believe Jesus is revealing that he came to the world in order to remedy a crime that has been committed against humanity by the gods.

…and Jesus said, 'For judgment [a decision (crime) κρίμα (krima)] I to this world did come, that those not seeing may see, and those seeing may become blind.'

John 9:39

- In this verse, I believe Jesus is revealing that he literally holds it against no one if they decide not to follow his teachings, and I believe this is because reincarnation will bring everyone back around to opportunity after opportunity to learn these teachings firsthand.

And if any one may hear my sayings, and not believe, I -- I do not judge [condemn, punish κρίνω (krinō)] him, for I came not that I might judge the world, but that I might save [preserve σώσω (sōsō)] the world.

John 12:47

- The entire book of revelation is completely out of character, for who Jesus displayed, while he was speaking within the gospels in the canonical scriptures, as well as the gnostic scriptures. I believe this is because the book of revelation is inherently a "channeled work" and we do not know specifically who this entity is, and perhaps has even one of the old gods masquerading as savior?

And I saw the heaven having been opened, and lo, a white horse, and he who is sitting upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness doth he judge [condemn, punish κρίνει (krinei)] and war.
