P2P (AKA "Pay To Play") voiceover and "gig" sites are everywhere, and new voiceover talents rightly take them into consideration when mapping out their path into professional work. But just how important are they to a voiceover career, and are they really the way to the VO money? Does it have to be an all-in endeavor? Are there valid VO paths that don't include P2P?

To explore this, Andrew talks with VO producer, coach, and voiceover business mentor Paul Schmidt, who insists that he's no David against a voiceover industry Goliath. But when Goliath reached back out saying they were "offended" about his opinion on P2P these days, Paul had a few more things to say to this VO titan.
