The Celtics beat the Pelicans 118-112 after being down by as many as 17pts. This was a game where we played with no Porzingis and Kornet which left our depth at big pretty limited. With that being said, JB and Tatum were pretty solid throughout this game. Tatum did struggle turning the ball over 7 times though.

This was arguably the worst offensive game of Derrick White's life through 3 quarters but the man was on a mission in the fourth scoring 13pts on 5-6 from the field spearheading this comeback. It certainly wasn't a pretty game throughout on the offensive end as we shot 24% from 3 in the first half but we turned it around and came out with a big W improving to 36-11 on the season.

The Celtics were smoked 115-96 by the Clippers and this game truly wasn't as close as the score shows. The Celtics were down by as many as 36 in this game and we saw and all bench unit all 4th quarter. People will complain about the amount of 3s that were taken in this game but the majority of them were wide open. When the 3s weren't falling, they did take it to the rim and they missed there too. The Clippers and Celtics both shot 10-40 from 3 so you can't blame the whole game on 3s.

The Clippers were able to finish at the rim, we weren't. The Clippers were able to clean up their misses after offensive rebounds and we weren't. Games like this aren't fun but they happen. Pop has said there are 5-6 games every year where everything goes right and you kill teams and then 5-6 games where nothing goes right and you get killed and this was one of those games. The Celtics absolutely demolished the Heat 143-110. As far as game play is concerned, there is not a single negative you can take from today's game. We got excellent performances from the entire starting 5 along with a lot of our bench. The Celtics shooting tonight was unmatched by anything we have seen in a long time. They shot 64% from the field, 55% from 3 and 95% from the FT line!

Everything was working for this Celtics team. The Heat threw a couple zones at us and Porzingis tore it to shreds. We were aggressive getting downhill but also kicked out to a lot of wide open shots. The story line from today's game is the injury to Porzingis though. He left the third quarter with an ankle sprain. He did return to the bench without ice and seemed to be in good spirits watching his team destroy Miami so hopefully that is a good sign.

The Celtics take down the Mavs 119-110 and improve to 33-10 on the season. This was an absolute masterclass from both of the Jays. Tatum led the way scoring wise with 38pts and JB was right behind him with 35pts. What I loved about this game from them was that the majority of their scoring came at the rim or FT line. They both did a great job of taking advantage of the mismatch against both Luka and Kyrie.

Outside of the outstanding play from the Jays, we saw a lot of guys step up on both sides of the ball. Holiday was excellent in this one with 17pts 7reb and 6ast and even Pritchard who struggled shooting added 7reb and 6ast on the night as well. This isn't a game that the Celtics shot well from deep which makes this win even more impressive.

The Celtics beat the Rockets 116-107 improving to 33-10 on the season. This was another game where the Celtics came out scorching hot scoring 70pts in the first half on 10-24 from 3 with 19ast on 26fgm. The ball was moving and guys were hitting shots. It definitely slowed down in the second half but they were able to pull it out with some incredible performances along the way. Porzingis led the way in this one with 32pts shooting 6-11 from deep with 5blks. He was taking advantage of every mismatch possible in this game.

Derrick White had another great game with 21pts 11reb and 2blks along with a great defensive game. While JB’s shooting was definitely off, he ended the game with a triple double tallying 13pts 11reb and 10ast. JB led the way with 10ast but this was a great passing game for the Celtics as they finished the game with 31ast on just 43fgm which is great to see. This was another game where the Celtics had a poor showing in the 3rd quarter being outscored 25-20 but they pulled it together down the stretch for this win!

The Celtics fall to the Nuggets 102-100 in a maddening game. The Celtics played pretty well defensively in this game but were ridiculously inconsistent on the offensive end. Holding the Nuggets to just 102 is solid but there is way to much firepower on the Celtics to only score 100. Porzingis came out of the gates unstoppable scoring the first 11pts and 15 of our first 20 but only ended the game with 21pts. White didn't do a whole lot in the first half but came alive in the third making some big buckets keeping the Celtics in the game.

Tatum and JB were both horrible in this one though which is what hurts. JB's shot selection was fine but he wasn't hitting anything. He ended the night with just 13pts on 6-19 from the field. Tatum's shot selection was worse and he was still horrible from the field shooting just 9-24. Tatum did impact the game in other ways but it was still a tough game. After an incredible stretch of basketball, Holiday did nothing to impact this game either. It's a tough competitor and a horrible offensive game from us and we only lost by 2. It's not a moral victory but it could've been worse.

The Celtics destroy the Spurs 117-98 and improve to 20-0 at home!! This game was never really in question. They got out to an early lead and never looked back. These types of games are fun because you get to keep starters minutes low and see what some of the bench is capable of. Holiday, JB and Tatum were all really good in this one but one of the stars for me was Kornet!

With Porzingis and White out tonight, Kornet got the start and really took advantage of it. He screened really well, passed the ball really well and defended at a high level. Queta was right there with him so we got very productive minutes from our backup bigs tonight. Pritchard continues to come off the bench and provide solid minutes as well. This is a solid win but a much more challenging game awaits the Celtics on Friday night. Their undefeated home record is on the line against the Nuggets!

The Celtics beat the Raptors 105-96 and improve to 31-9 on the season! This game was led by the Stock Exchange! Jrue Holiday and Derrick White were both fantastic in this one. They both scored 22pts with Holiday adding 6reb and 7ast as well. This was one of the better Holiday games we've seen in a while. Outside of the excellent backcourt performance, we did see Horford play outstanding and Tatum had an excellent 3rd quarter that kept the Celtics in this game.

This was truly a game of runs. The Celtics found themselves up 6 at halftime and then a 16-3 run early in the third had the Celtics down 7 but the Celtics went on a massive 20-4 run of their own to end the third up 9. It continued to fluctuate in the 4th quarter but we had some big shots from Holiday and White that kept the Celtics afloat. The Celtics gave up 30 fast break pts and lost the pts in the paint battle 60-28 so it certainly wasn't perfect but it's a win!

The Celtics bounced back after a tough loss to the Bucks in a major way. The beat the Rockets 145-113 in Ime Udoka's return to the Garden and improved to 19-0 at home extending their franchise record. This was another masterclass from the Jays. JB was insanely efficient with 32pts on just 11-15 from the field along with some incredible defense. Tatum also added 27pts before he was ejected after his two techs.

Outside of those two, we did see a lot of great performances from the likes of Porzingis and Pritchard . After going 1-16 from 3 to start the game against the Bucks, the Celtics came out with a completely different level of execution. We saw a lot more ball and player movement and it led to an incredible shooting game. They ended the night shooting 24-47 from 3 which is incredible and it led to a blowout victory!

The Celtics were embarrassed in Milwaukee tonight 135-102. This was the second night of a back to back after going to OT against a very tough and physical Timberwolves team and some would say this was a scheduled loss. While that may be true, losing in this fashion is tough to watch.

The Celtics were down 75-38 at halftime and that is when Mazzulla decided to call it quits and went with an all bench lineup in the second half. While our starters were horrible in this one, I will give credit to the bench for actually outscoring the Bucks in the 2nd half and that is including a third quarter where they faced the majority of Bucks starters so it was an impressive showing from some guys that we aren't used to watching. This is a tough loss but we move on!
