So yesterday on 9/11, the hashtag #AllBuildingsMatter managed to trend, and a lot of people were upset by this. If only they could see how #AllLivesMatter would be equally upsetting and put themselves in someone else's shoes.

There is a pretty serious and long-term story coming from the Mexican state of Chihuahua, and practically no one is talking about it as seriously as they should be. This is more than likely the first (unofficial) volley in the water wars, and it will affect millions of Mexicans and Americans.

I'm bothered by the revelations of the Bob Woodward interview with President Trump, but I'm not surprised by them. How are people still surprised by anything this President says or does anymore? What's arguably even more concerning is something else Trump freely divulged to Woodward...

Proving that conservatives don't have original ideas anymore, CPC leader Erin O'Toole has appropriated "America First" into "Canada First." Canada and America shares what amounts to a symbiotic relationship economically, so any idea of isolationism is actually bad for both economies. I would have expected such economically-minded and "fiscally responsible" people to be aware of that. Erin O'Toole is just #MapleFlavouredMAGA and judging from the past four years in America, I don't think most Canadians want that.

I keep seeing and hearing from friends and family (both American and non-American) that "America is a lost cause." And while the situation is dire, and the news from America is rarely good, millions of Americans are fighting for better which tells me there is hope and that America isn't a lost cause. At least, not yet.

Today is Labour Day in Canada, which is often simply treated as the last long weekend of summer before school. This is a shame, because there's a rich history to the holiday, fought for by people who believed in a better, fairer, and more prosperous nation.

Michael Forest Reinoehl was the suspect in the Portland shooting of a Patriot Prayer member. He was killed earlier this week by US Marshals who apparently can't keep their story straight. This brings us to today's video, as well as my video on the shooting in Portland.
