Season 2 Episode 8 They like to call him Big Papa... the grape that fathered so many. We are, of course, talking about Cab Franc! The Daddy mac of em all. Most often used as a blending grape Cab Franc is a grape we have all tasted. So what's it like on its own? More and more these days single varietal Cab Franc wines are being made and they can be super interesting. This week Jen and Seán taste two different French Cab Francs and explore the differences that just a few miles can make.

Sean 2 Episode 7 Fall is very much upon us in full force... so let's drink some white wine! This episode is all about Grüner Veltliner. For some people Grüner is a substitute for Sauvignon Blanc, for other its the ultimate food wine. For us Grüner is the best way to introduce our friends to the wonerful and exciting world of Austrian wines.

On this third episode of the season Jenn and Seán try something new. This episode will be the first of a TRILOGY! The Garnacha Trilogy. The first part of this trilogy takes us spain and to an offspring of the Garnacha grape, Garnacha Tintorera. Originally bred by crossing Grenache with Petite Bouschet, Garnacha Tintorera (also known as Alicante Bouchet) is a beast of a grape, that produces big bold wines with an epically dark color. Season 2 episode 2 When discussing wine, ya know like ya do, there are certain names that immediately elicit a certain sense respect. Bordeaux, Chianti, Alsace, and of course... Sancerre. Sancerre is one of those wines that is shrouded in mystique and mystery, and yet we all know it as a great wine. If you find yourself wandering the white wine sections of your local shop lost, alone, and confused-- Sancerre is that beacon in the dark. Always good, always interesting, and always a good choice.
