  • FRIENDSHIP - THE POWER OF HUMAN CONNECTION (Part 1)

"In tough times, it's your real besties, the front row seat people that rally round you to provide with that shield of support. They help you deal with those dark times, they are there to listen, laugh, and bounce ideas off and ultimately help to build you back up - their numbers are on speed dial when you need them, they drop everything and come to your aid - these are the friends I am so fortunate to have in my life. There's a saying that "Friends are the family we get to choose for ourselves" I could not agree more...."

In this episode, we are exploring the topic - Friendship. I will be inviting few friends to explore this with me - as we all know people have different opinions when it comes to friendships. There are good and bad friendship relationships - there are friendship that help us thrive and there are also toxic friendship that hinder our progress.

To kick off the topic, my guest is my real good friend, Jane Okafor De Raeve.
Jane is a wife and mother of 3 wonderful children. She completed her first degree in Nigeria in Mass Communication and she's currently studying for her Master's in Education.
Jane has been privileged to have had the opportunity of being a diplomatic trailing spouse, moving from one country to another every four years for diplomatic duties and this given her a valuable experience in world affairs. She believes in giving back to vulnerable communities all over the world.
She is the Co-Founder of Chance4all, a charitable organisation based in Zambia.
You can find her on all social media and support this worth cause.

  • WHAT DOES LIVING A MEANINGFUL LIFE MEAN?

In this fifth episode of Bounce Back with Cocochi show, the host Cocochi and her guest Emi Oseni engaged in a wide discussion centred on what living a meaningful life is.
Living a meaningful life is closely related to authenticity, to being who we truly are - many  people struggle to be themselves for fear of criticism or rejections; as a result they find themselves living a life that is far from satisfying or meaningful.

    ABOUT THE GUEST:
Emi Oseni is an author, speaker, project manager and business data analyst. She's fondly known as the "The Bright-Light-Empowered to illuminate others. She loves meeting people and helping young adults get clarity in their life journey so they can thrive and build quality relationships. Her pillars of influence are family and education.
She has authored two transformational books - Living a Meaningful Life and "Love Never fails" which address the realities of juggling  different aspects of your life while maintaining the joy and peace that would allow you to thrive. These books are available in paperback, eBook and audible formats on most distribution platforms.

She founded Living Meaningfully, a non-profit organisation in 2018 after writing her first book -Living a meaningful Life, with the aim to help people discover and walk in purpose, grow together and impact lives. Today, Living Meaningfully is a growing community with over 2000+ members, currently  open to more networking and collaboration opportunities this year.

Emi is a Nigerian, and lives in Canada. She holds a BASc in Business Informatics with a minor in Economics and MSc in Management, Business Analytics. She's passionate about using data to uncover global solutions.
She wants to live to leave a legacy and be remembered as someone of influence who impacted lives and gave her all to people. It's not a destination she's after but a lifelong journey of becoming, changing how people think about life and relationships while helping them fulfil their destines and live a life of impact.

    Some Highlights;
    - What are the challenges, obstacles or misunderstanding that stand in the way,
    - Why are we really here?
    - What are my purpose/passion
    - What makes me happy
    - What makes  life worth living?
Emi shares her thoughts on these important questions in this episode.

  • THE INNER VOICE - HOW TO MANAGE YOUR INNER VOICE & NEGATIVE SELF-TALK

On this episode, Coco-Chi is talking about the inner voice and how to manage the negative self-talk.
Our past experiences, even the things we don't usually think about, are all alive and active in our daily life in the form of an inner voice - our self-talk.  Everyone has an inner voice...sometimes this inner voice lies to you and fills you up with negativity. What lies are you telling yourself on a daily basis? Could your inner voice be holding you back?  Are you allowing too much negativity in? Your inner voice is your harshest critic and the one that will lower your self-esteem the quickest.
What can you do to silence that negative noise/self-talk?
Listen to the show & learn all about it!

  • How exercise can help you reduce depression during lockdown.

On this episode I talk about "How exercise can help you reduce depression during this lockdown."
During this lockdown, the new rules of life can pull our mental health into a damaging spiral.
Staring at the same four walls everyday, can intensify our anxiety and stress level, not to talk of worries over jobs, businesses, money, living arrangements or even the lockdown itself. But there's something we can do to reduce these anxieties which the Public Health England and Mental Health Professionals have encouraged everyone to do - Exercise.
