Bounty Board

What is up fellow nerds?! The Bounty Board crew is back this week with a new episode of your favorite video game podcast. This time we come to you from the high seas of Sea of Thieves!

Tune in for a special swashbuckling episode as the the guys talk about whether E3 has lost its place in an ever digitizing world. Playstation has already backed out of the show, their second time in as many years, and in the vacuum they leave behind people are starting to ask the question, is E3 dead?

There are a lot of different ways to look at this one. Microsoft has reiterated its dedication to the E3 showcase, but will other publishers and developers bow out like Sony has? Who knows? Listen to this weeks episode and find out if the Bounty Board crew sees E3 sticking around or circling the drain.

Each member gives their 3 favorite games from the decade and discusses why it made their list, and as usual the Bounty Board crew is up to their usual shenanigans. What’s up everyone!? This week the Bounty Board crew do something a little different! Eric and Ryan are out for the night, so Ben, Caleb, and special guest Odin take you on a journey into the American frontier! We decided to test out recording the podcast while playing a game, and this first attempt we dove into Red Dead Online.

Catch your favorite podcast as they drink in the saloon in Valentine, ride out to Strawberry, get into scuffles in Saint Denis and more! All while talking about their ideal video game. What is it that we would want to see in a game that is perfect for us? Odin wants what Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order seems to promise, Ben wants to pay $15 dollars a month, and Caleb really wants a larger scale XCOM. Join us!

What’s up everyone!? How is it going? Bet you are about to be doing a lot better! This week’s episode of Bounty Board is LIVE now! Join Caleb, Ryan, and Ben as they dig into the question: Are Games Getting Too Big? It is no big secret that games are getting larger and larger. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was absolutely massive, with a sprawling map littered with miscellaneous tasks and activities. Breakpoint is pretty similar in scale. Maybe it’s just Ubisoft games?

The crew gets into the weeds a bit in this one, as they are wont to do. The discussion veers into the overloaded Fall release schedule, whether games have always been long, the ability for indie titles to be shorter, the impetus for AAA studios to create groundbreaking, and large-scale titles. Come hang out with us as we talk it out!
