This week on #BourbonTurntable we wrap up our conversation with Steve Gorman about The Rolling Stones "Some Girls" album on the 45th anniversary of its release.  Drew called listening to Steve "a master class on this album".  He ain't wrong.

Before we get into "Some Girls" we drink some whiskey.  Well...some of us do.  We have Keeper's Heart out of Steve's new town, Minneapolis, and Johnny Drum, because Steve plays the drums.

And even before that, we check in with Steve and get caught up on his new gig hosting a morning show for KQRS in Minneapolis plus some info and video clip on his new band, Bag Men.

One of our favorite new artists that we learned about in 2023 is Dusty Bo.  Dusty is an accomplished singer-songwriter and guitarist whose debut "The Vulture & the Fox" is stellar blend of southern rock, country and 90s-alternative.  To me, it's a bit Skynyrd, a bit Audioslave, a bit Chevelle and a whole lot of fun.

Drew leads us in a blind tasting of two Lee W. Sinclair single barrels.  That's some fine work by our friend, Alan Bishop.

Dusty also has a live, in -studio album called "Live from La La Land".  It is equally deserving of your time and enjoyment.
