We talk to Brandy about battling self doubt even when it reemerges after you've started seeing success, finding the right community that will validate you and inspire you, her experience with persistence as it took over a decade to have any large career breakthroughs as either a writer or an artist, writing for theater verses a record, being openly gay in the country world, and a whole lot more.
