  • #15 - The Mahogany Roads

Live via Zoom, I got to chat with recently retired shipmates, Dave and Nia and their journey into retirement via RV! We talk about the path to making the decision, how covid-19 and 2020 impacted their RV life, raising a child, and what some of their future non-plans are as they continue to live a life of fulfillment park after park. The conversation was great and a pleasure to have with such genuine people.

  • #12 - Time is Change

I talk about the change of societal consumption, and how I am planning to participate in that change. Content creation is the new business, and the most accessible form of the "American Dream".......whatever that might mean to you.

  • #11 - She's the Submissive?

Part 2 of the Treesje and Ernest episode. If you thought part 1 had some hot button topics, just wait until you listen to this! We start talking loosely about roles of the marriage and who gets the final word in decision making and the why's behind it. It quickly escalates to other topics, that might be sensitive to some. Just remember keep an open mind, withhold judgement and know that your life is perfect the way you have it. Enjoy!

  • #10 - He's the Dependent

Joined by my great friend, Treesje and her husband Ernest. Many stereotypically assume the man in a military marriage is the service member, and the wife is just that, the dependent. Too often assumed to be a stay at home, follow her husband in his career PCSing command after command. This couple has flipped that script since day 1, and since Treesje joined, Ernest has helped packed up the house, looked for the new job and made the move to wherever the next duty station was. In this episode we dive into this very unique marriage and how they have dealt with it throughout the years.

  • #9 - What is this?

Just here to have share some thoughts and let them snowball into what I'm trying to grow from the seed of a few episodes. Besides that, I want everyone to know what we're not here to do either.

  • #8 - Millennial Dad with Nick

Sat down with my buddy Nick and ended up talking about how we’re raising our sons and the challenges that we face as millennial fathers. How are we are overcoming them, teaching our kids the hard lessons of life, so life doesn’t have too. Very interesting and surprising where some of the conversation goes.

  • #6 - Career Rewind

Joined once again by my good friend Chad, we discuss his recent lifetime achievement award of retiring from the U.S. Navy, how it’s affected him, what his plans are now that he's retired. We give thoughts to what makes some stay in while others get out or retire immediately at first eligibility. Then we flashback to a simpler time, and share sea stories about how important a good Sponsor and first impressions are. Real life issues, resolved by real life Sailors.
