In the best session since May 2020, the Dow Jones finished up 932 points. The Fed raised rates by 50 bps overnight and a less hawkish outlook than expected rallied markets. SPI Futures pointing a modest gain, up 31 points this morning. Catch up on all the latest with Henry's Breakfast Briefing.

  • ASX 200 SPI Futures up 31 points.
  • Dow rallies 932 points (2.8%) most since March 2020.
  • Nasdaq up 401 points (3.2%) S&P 500 up 125 (3%)
  • Base metals slightly better. Copper up 1.2%
  • Iron ore down 0.5% Oil jumps on EU oil ban, up 5%.
  • NAB results in line or slightly better in places.
