The Bank of Canada recently released the results of their Summer business executive and consumer surveys. On inflation, the survey showed that many Canadians expect higher inflation to persist longer than previously thought. So where could investors turn, and could dividends be the place for the foreseeable future? And specifically which sectors of dividends? Joining us today to tackle this question and more, is veteran portfolio manager Don Newman. For Canadian investors Don manages Fidelity Dividend Plus Fund, and is also the underlying or subportfolio manager on other Fidelity Canada funds including Dividend Fund and Monthly Income Fund. Don is also director of research managing a team of equity research analysts on the Fidelity Canada investment team.
