The former Florida Gators commitment improves the Hurricanes’ biggest issue of slowing down opposing passing attacks. With Waters’ length, speed, agility, and aggressive style of play, look for him to compete for early playing time in Coral Gables.

With Waters in Miami’s fold, he becomes the fifth commitment for the class, joining Ben offensive lineman Congdown, quarterback Dereon Coleman, linebacker Jordan Campbell, and cornerback Camdin Portis.
