Although the Latino community in Fresno, California, plays a central role in the world's biggest economic force, agriculture, the economic disparities between them and other communities are massive. As Theresa Gonzales grew up, she became aware of this issue and realized she could either roll with it and see where life would take her or do something to break the cycle. She chose the latter.
