In February 2002, siblings Morgan & Lee Heist came home from school to an empty house. They assumed their mom, 42 year old Brenda Heist, was at the grocery store, but when hours passed with no sign of her, they called their dad to come home from work. This would be the start of a missing persons case that lasted over a decade with an ending nobody saw coming.
