Brew Chatt

We recorded live down at Tanasi Brewing Supplies with the owner Clinton, and we were joined by Morgan Maier from Wiseacre Brewing. We talked about the inspiration behind the Tanasi name, Clinton’s brewing club, and we talk about RO systems.

We’ve got local comedians and the dynamic duo that is Good Cop Rad Cop, Ryan Darling and Dave Hannah, joining us in the studio for this episode. We’re drinking a few pale ales and we talk about the original Bad Lieutenant, Michael Keaton Returning as Batman, and the unbelievable fact that Bill Cosby had over 70 honorary degrees.

This week we sat down with Troya (@asaptroya) and Kim (@kimbobeero) from Five Wits Brewing Company to talk about opening back up Market South and the brewery, torture devices, and share quite a number of bottles.

Local musicians Matthew Paul Revere and Marvin Shrum join us on this episode to enjoy some tasty IPAs and listen to some sexy jams. We talk about Covid-19’s effect on music, and try to figure out when things may go back to some sort of normalcy, and they play us some great music.

With our second episode back in the studio we’ve got a local comedian who we’ve been trying to get on the show for a hot minute. Then Covid-19 hit, and here we are. So we’re back and so is he, Ben Levine joins us to have a few tasty brews, and tell us how hungry he is to get back on the stage.

We have decided to open the studio back up! Get ready guys! We will be testing the waters with having guests back in studio and no longer over Discord and Zoom. We're very excited and bear with us as we test these waters. We won't necessarily be getting a ton of new guests in immediately. But we're still drinking beers and having some great conversation.

We are very excited to head up to Dayton, TN and sit down with Kirby Garrison Brewer/Owner of Monkey Town Brewing Company. We drank a damn good pilsner he has on tap, talked about how business has been, and how Coronavirus could lead to lagers being the next big thing.

Adventure Fight is a live action Dungeons and Dragons show featuring comedians here in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Hosted by Ian Sharp and Bryant Smith. While in quarantine we have produced the first installment of “A Most Potent Brew”. So come along with us and join in the adventure. Complete with sound effects and music. It basically plays like a really weird audio book.

We decided to get our hosts together to do some porch drinking and sitting. Tanner, Jared, and Scott went to Jared’s to catch up on some recent movie news, and to do some deep porch sitting. So y’all come back now ya hear? We’re talking about how this quarantine situation may bring about the revival of the craft lager, and what we’ve been watching and catching up on during this pandemic.

An in-person podcast, Star Wars, Beer!? Yeah, you’ve got one hell of a mix to make us pretty happy. For our first in person podcast since the Covid-19 Quarantine, we are down at Naked River Brewing Company to taste their new Star Wars themed beer, The Mangalorian, and to discuss Star Wars, how they’ve fared during the pandemic, and to just throw back a few cold ones.
