In this week's episode, we took a trip down to Graham, NC to check out Little Oblivion Brewing. We got to chat with Eric Lebsack, the owner and brewer, who told us about his past home-brewing and entering the professional world after pushing the limit of how much beer he could brew at home.  We learned about running a sensory program and how Eric trained bartenders to detect certain flavors in beers to make sure the quality of each pour is up to the brewer's standard. We got to try "The Lefty," an imperial double IPA as well as the "1830," a farmhouse saison. If you want to catch us live, we will be playing the brewery April 1st later this year and can't wait to see what is new on tap!

In this week's episode, we took a trip over to Winston Salem to check out Wiseman Brewing. We got to chat with Sam Victory their brew master who gave us some history on the building and brewery as well as a rundown on their brewing process. Being consistent is the name of the game when doing distribution to make sure your beers stay the same each time and he showed us the type of systems they have in place to make sure their flagship beers like Body Electric and Mountain Calling are always delicious.

Welcome to our first episode of Brews Rock! We have been playing at breweries for quite some time and are big fans of craft beer, and even got our first beer "Chuck Mountain Dew" by Oden Brewing Company out here in Greensboro, NC in December of 2020. We started a beer review show on Youtube and had planned on making the transition to a podcast form and it took a shift when we decided to start with Oden and wanted to interview their assistant brewer Chris Breudder. We set out to only ask a few questions but we got sucked into the endless knowledge he had to offer and it became our new direction.
