Welcome Monty back to the podcast! Monty runs Ryan Pineda’s flipping and wholesale business, Homerun Offer. In today’s podcast episode, Monty and Brian share their experiences in the recent real estate market shifts, strategies and advice for new investors, and what it’s like working with Ryan Pineda.

In 2022, the real estate market shifted, and it was up to Monty to turn the business strategy around. Monty talks about the struggles the house flipping company faced when they had to pay high-interest loans as the deals weren’t panning out how they used to when the market was hot. The company shifted to a MLS wholesale strategy, so listen in to hear more about it! 

Monty and Brian also delve deep into the reasons why flips and wholesales fail. Take notes so you don’t make the same mistakes! Monty openly admits that he dislikes flipping houses. From the risk level, over-leveraging, and leadership issues, any flipping business can go bankrupt quickly.

Monty shares his strategy for individuals just starting their wholesale journey. His advice is to stick to your market and dominate it before expanding nationwide. The guys share their thoughts on where to find deals and where to find buyers.

Entrepreneurship and leadership come with dark days. Monty reveals his struggles when he first stepped into his role and faced challenges in the business. Monty truly learned what it takes to be a leader, getting emotional while describing his feelings at the time. Brian has had similar experiences, and they share how they’ve overcome these struggles.

Welcome Zasha back to the Wealthy Investor podcast!

Zasha is a private money queen! In this podcast, she and Brian go in-depth on how she’s been able to raise so much money to participate in her real estate investing deals. They share how they got into real estate investing. Zasha was raised by a single mom, and finances were stressed as she was growing up. Zasha worked as an engineer before she went full-time into real estate investing. Her son was diagnosed with autism when he was 18 months old, and she needed a lot of time off work to go to his doctor appointments. Soon after that, Zasha's family life was strained as she was trying to balance family and work. This was the trigger that made her start investing in real estate so she could become financially independent from a 9 to 5 job. She made six figures on her first investing deal, and only 45 days!

One of the biggest lessons Brian learned recently was that you can scale too fast. Zasha agrees and struggled with scaling with partners.

Zasha's invested in many types of real estate, from single-family to commercial buildings, all the way into development! Zasha shares what her favorites are and what she's focusing on in 2024, so stay tuned!
