An essential first step for new creators is to identify their target audience, known as their avatar. Failure to understand or assuming the wrong avatar is a common mistake made by many creators.

Brian queries Justin about current trends and what lies ahead in 2024. Justin highlights the significance of following trending audio and music. Integrating trending audio into your videos can lead social media platforms to promote your content.

Justin advises against becoming fixated on the number of views. While views are noteworthy, he stresses that creating content to attract people to your business is of greater importance. Quality of views surpasses the quantity of viewers.

When it comes to editing, Justin recommends specific apps. For short-form content, he suggests editing within the app you're posting on. Additionally, Cap-Cut can be utilized for more detailed edits. Regarding third-party posting apps, Justin cautions against their use. Instagram and YouTube already offer scheduling features, rendering third-party apps unnecessary. While these apps may save time, they can detrimentally impact your reach, impressions, and other metrics.
